Did anyone else notice the audio going silent during the last 4 minutes?

I still collect VHS now and then and aside from having two standard VHS VCR's (one by Emerson and a far better one by JVC with a flying erase head for crisp edits), I found and bought four Super VHS ET VCR's from local thrift stores for $10 to $15 each.

I heard the first VHS movie came out in 1976, and DVD was available in 1997. The majority of the VHS market was across the 80's and 90's. My childhood. I'm a Millennial, and we were the VHS generation.

A friend gave me a Panasonic svhs player. Still works fine. Benn transferring stuff I recorded and play prerecorded vhs when I'm in the mood. My 4th player in 20 yrs from a friend or co-worker.

Man, Im a movie collector and purged my VHS collection during a move. Very few survivors. I regret losing some of those tapes.

I didnt like how vhs was mostly in pan and scan and almost all the vcr's had mono sound I got laserdisc as soon as I could then DVD so I could see and hear the hole movie

great documentary. As a VHS collector from Brazil, I feel like things don't change much here. It's a shame that many horror films weren't even released here!

Look, no graded vhs tapes. Its almost like someone invented the market during Covid to gain a lot of profit after buying a bunch of cheap worthless sealed tapes no one wanted for decades.
