The Black community in Los Angeles shares their thoughts on O.J. Simpson’s death and the former athlete’s murder trial and life. Darsha Philips reports for the NBC4 News on April 11, 2024.
"OJ had a major influence in the black community?" Who wrote that woman's script? OJ didn't even remember he was black until the cuffs were put on him and he met Johnnie Cochran.
O.J. didn't have the best defense money could buy. Read Vincent Bugliosi's book 'Outrage' and you will find out how the defense, the prosecution, and judge Ito were all incompetent.
@@user-yc6bj8yg1j take away Mark Furman and there is still enough evidence to convict. Specifically, the Bruno Magli shoes that OJ insisted he did not own. But was photographed with them Rodney King had nothing to do with this case, but, given their narrow-mindedness, the jurors probably considered it.
The man was guilty and Black America pretended the Law didn't matter. OJ was no martyr, that's for sure, but his lawyers tried (and failed) to paint him as one.
If OJ had tried on those gloves without the latex gloves underneath, the fit would have been perfect. I don’t understand why the prosecution didn’t ask that the under glove be removed, then try it again. BAM!
Money made him think he wasn't black he thought he could do what the devils he admired has done forever he thought they lived his blackness it was alm about his money
Because they support evil ,a Black man killed 2 white people ,let’s party thats the mindset truly its shocking, if only they knew real history damn fools really think it’s okay to kill white people because of slavery omg when Jesse Lee Peterson said satans your daddy ,it used to piss me off ,not anymore, white people better watch their back now
We don't care, bottom line is black people knew he was guilty but didn't care because the verdict was payback for the Rodney King and the Latasha Harlins incident case closed!!!
I cant believe the lack of intelligence and common sense in the world. The reason they wanted to know how the black community felt who lived in LA in 1994 is because at that time in that area, the judicial system and law enforcement was going nuts unjustly convicting and killing blacks , particularly black men was terribly rampant. It was all over the news everyday. The LA police dept was under much scrutiny at that time. So, many in the black community had mixed feelings about OJs acquittal. It was shocking when he was acquitted. Everyone thought he was a dead man from the start. So when he was acquitted it was almost like "an eye for an eye" kind of thing. So now 30 years later , the news report was to get reactions from the community today. Opinions change, society has changed. Nothing racist about that report.
OJ didn’t give a damn about the black community 😂😂
His white friends didn't care about him when he got arrested.
O j. didn't care about black 🖤 people.
OJ was guilty
My view has always been if he didn’t do who did
Innocent
Not

The OJ case proved that the only color matters in our judicial system is green. If you have the means, you hire the best defense money can buy.
So right Money talks big time
