A few or so years back in the state of Pennsylvania a man purchased a painting for $4 at a flea market. For the frame. He peeled the painting away and underneath it was an original copy of the Declaration of Independence. I believe at auction it sold for around a million dollars or so. 👍🏻❤🇺🇸❤🇺🇸🙏🏻

Collecting military unit patches is a common hobby around aviation, both for military personnel and civilians. Usually it's done in a trade - each person gives their current squadron patch. That collection represents years of working with various squadrons to trade with. He also sent you some of the patches and insignia he would wear on his personal uniform, so that's even more special!
The original founding documents were written on hemp paper.
My second cousin 8 times removed, Richard Henry Lee, signature is on the Declaration. He made the original Motion to Declare Independence on June 7, 1776.

My 5th great uncle signed the Declaration of Independence for Delaware. Thomas McKean. He later was a 3 term Governor of Pennsylvania. His father was a Scots immigrant, fleeing persecution from Culloden.
That's awesome! My ancestor Lyman Hall signed it for Georgia. His first name is my last name crazy enough.

Happy Birthday Denzel. Iwas in the Air Force myself 76-81. I was stationed at Holloman AFB. Where i worked on the F4 Phantom and the F15 Eagle. We also has the T38's. The T38 is a trainer jet. We had a test track tha6t was a set of rails like train ran on. It was 32 miles and ran dead straight and the was perfectly level. It followed the curve of the earth.
On this test track, the first man traveled faster than the speed of sound.
There were a few movies featuring Notre Dame, like you said. The most famous is probably Rudy, but one I strongly suggest is Fighting Back: The Rocky Bleier Story. Grew up in Appleton, Wisconsin (just a few miles from my hometown) and starred at Notre Dame, getting drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers. He got drafted to the US Army after his rookie season as a grenedier, getting injured while trying to protect a comrade from a grenade, severely damaging his right leg and earning the Bronze Star. After the war, he was able to rejoin the Steelers and won 4 Super Bowls with them. Truly an inspirational guy.
I'm bummed you guys are only hitting big cities on your trip rather than seeing some of the beautiful natural parts of the country, but I hope you enjoy it none the less!! Coming up soon and I bet you're all excited!!

A few years ago, the original Bill of Rights, Declaration of independence, and Constitution which are stored in hermetically sealed containers containing inert gases to preserve them were found to be leaking, My brother, who is a physical chemist and creates monitors to detect minute physical phenomena was asked to create monitors to pick up future leaks!

I personally own one of those "A Salt Rifles" and it truly works. The salt kills the fly on contact, then the salt dehydrates the fly so it won't be just stunned. Even flies should die without suffering. Hugs and happy belated birthday.
The BEST Notre Dame movie is "Rudy" and it is a great story of having a dream and working hard to achieve it. LOVE your channel and wish y'all where coming to ATLANTA when you come to the US this year.
When I lived in Phoenix Arizona I had a good friend that had worked as flight mechanic during the Vietnam War. He worked on the F4, the F15 and the F16. He even worked on the planes of the Thunderbirds, the U.S. Air Force top demo team. After retirement he went to work for Boeing working on the AH64 Apache helicopter.
He is one great guy and was always there to help out in any way he could.
Those bug assault guns are so cool. I bought one for my dad and now he sits on the porch waiting for flies to try their luck.

Wow, the Air Force patches sure bring back memories. Iceland F-4 was on my uniform in 1976-77. (The Air Force pilots had to learn to use tail hooks.) This was a terrific episode with the flags, the gifts, the three major documents, etc. Well done!

The other started out loading/unloading cargo planes, and is now following in his older brother’s footsteps by earning his “Spings” and working in the Air Force Space Command. I went to the Indianapolis 500 3 times in my life.. at 9yo 10yo and 11yo... soooo much fun!! Cool thing about when i went.. The first time was with Legend actor David Hasselhoff (Knight Rider) he is such a cool guy too! 2nd and 3rd time was actually for a school field trip... what a cool thing to do for school haha. So yeah.. 3 times.. every time was a blast!!

Yep Notre Dame is in South Bend Indiana. My hometown. The campus was a 5 minute bike ride from my house. Used to spend hours in the summer riding my bike around campus as a kid. Now I am in Indianapolis and the 500 track is a 10 minute drive.
As you read the Constitution please pay particular attention to the Preamble. Sadly, most don't. It give both the 6 purposes of the document and the authority behind it. A single 52 word sentence that is the foundation the rest sits upon. It reminds us that that authority derives from every man, woman, and child of this nation and we are the supreme authority. Not some king, aristocrat, politician, or faceless bureaucrat.

If you are going to Fort Worth, try for a Rodeo, Billy Bobs has an indoor rodeo. You can see the walking of the bulls in Northside. See Log Cabin Village, Old South Pancake House (German pancakes, Fort Worth Cowgirl Museum. Forest Park narrow gage train by the Zoo, You must go to the Northside to visit all the tourist shops.
We have a Studebaker carriage in our museum in Audubon, Iowa. There are many prestige universities in Indiana. Indiana University, Purdue University, Notre Dame, Indiana State University and Vincennes University. There are others, but they are the big ones.
