Those people who say that Emily is a karaoke singer after joining LP should be ashamed of themselves. They need to watch this.
Only drive-by haters are saying that. She has been universally welcome into the band. Both their LA and NYC show were packed/sold out, and The Emptiness Machine is their first #1 debut since Meteora in the early 2000's.

I think I dig Emily more in Dead Sara. She sounds so fucking authentic and incredibly awesome stage energy! But I'm looking forward on her journey with LP! They have a bright future and we support these incredible bands.

@@loriesposito6470 The other band members are super supportive. They were at the reveal show and went live from it. They keep liking and responding to fans comments on Emily on twitter. And most importantly, they said Dead Sara is not over. It will probably be Emily's second project when LP is on a break.

I was at this show and have seen Dead Sara ~8 times. I'm a bit older and have been a DS fan since 2011. Glad to see Emily getting all of this well deserved recognition and hope she continues w/DS as well.

She was there like she had fingers pinched in the door leaf. Tottaly flat audience with only wish to feed their smartphones and social media.
But this concert is real fire and Emily explodes like monster blonde raspy volcano. Audience shines with presence and hungry for live experience. Love this energy and Dead Sara !

I just finished watching this , there wasn’t a dull moment. The show kicked ass all the way, wish I could have been there. Such a tight band and her voice is an angel with the scream of the devil.

Get out to smaller acts like this if you can, it's typical. The 'phones everywhere' thing happens because others care when people post them. Smaller acts have less motive for people to record. And they tend to have ticket prices cheaper than a drink at a big name show, so it's not necessarily a treasured experience going into it, rather it's only treasured after having fully taken in.
This gig is absolute🔥!! What I'd have given to be there!! Insane energy from the band and the crowd, incredible vocals from Emily, and perfectly driven guitars & drums from Siouxsie, Chris & Sean - wow, just WOW! Hoping so hard that Dead Sara continue, the world needs this rawness and passion!

Emily is amazing. He performed this song very well because he himself was here and immediately entered from the start. Because of his and Mike's new song. But when he performed old Linkin Park songs he seemed to be singing with a very heavy burden because he had to perform well in front of Linkin Park fans. Chester is Chester, Emily is Emily, who has her own character. In Dead Sara she really sings with her own character and characteristics. So don't demand that he be like Chester

Second time we saw them live was a small (frozen) outdoor show in Grand Rapids, Michigan. You should have seen the look on Emily's face when people started singing along. You could tell she was thinking, "Wow. They actually know the words?"

Dead Sara are an amazing live performance band which is unusual these days. Most "excellent" recordings happen in the studio but this video is solid proof that they can perform amazing sets live.

This maybe the best camera work and direction of a live show that I have ever seen. No super close-ups on their faces/ nostrils, or cutting to the bass player when inexplicably for no reason etcetera ... Great job! What a joy to watch! It's as if I was there in person. Well, thank you very much. I definitely like how the editing came out. Lighting needed to be a touch brighter and maybe the side cameras could have been a little lower. The first night of shooting, I also had a camera low on the speaker in front of Siouxsie. Love the angle, but her mic stand is directly in the middle of the frame. Kind of took away from the shot. Always a learning experience. Grateful the band allowed me to shoot both nights!
Really hoping that they come back to the UK, preferably as headlining rather than as a support act (but I'll take any Dead Sara live show I can get!)

let me start off by saying I'm not usually a big fan of female singers in rock. But she is amazing, gave me chills!
You're missing out. You may want to check out Nico Vega, specifically "Beast" and "Fury oh fury" and a band called Blues Pills, start with "Devil Man" live.
We learned about Nico Vega from Chris Null. Followed them for a while too. I have a lot of footage of them on my channel. Now their on "hiatus"... booo.
