I feel like early curses is much harder in 3.1 than it was in 3.0; fully half the runs that I've lost in 3.1 have been to early curses forcing me into a curse that I either can't mitigate, or just am not skilled enough to overcome.
Cantrip is a significantly more playable strategy in generate. It can’t be forced every time but probably 50% of the time. Especially in the orange green heavy comps
Giving the generates names would be a cool little gimmick to keep personality across runs. Like if you always name the Oranges O names, that would be pretty cute.
On a non-generate run, I got cantrip on Herbalist's "add growth" side and two other characters with cantrip reroll/damage. I think I got The Hand at the end and beat him while rolling for the first turn.
I'm actually enjoying this generate kick. It's a lot more volatile, but it also can have some really fun moments.
