Thank you so much for posting this flip through and explaining your process. I am literally years behind (my last PL album I started was in 2014) and this method is the perfect way to get the photos off my phone and into a scrapbook! Now I just have to go through 7 years of photos. . .
I like this very nice. However think about the album not for you but for your kids to look back on so while you know who is in the photos and why they are there in a few decades they may not
Totally agree and I was thinking the exact same thing. Esp for the memorial and other occasions.. I always think if family pick it up even my grandkids one day (here's hoping 😊) they will know the story because of how I've told it 😊
I really liked how you added the journaling on the 6x8 insert. I decided to give it a try on a few months that I'm catching up on in my 2020 Project Life album. Thanks so much for the inspiration!
I'm not a huge fan of journaling, so this was a great way for me to get it in the book without having to journal about each separate event. Highly recommend! HA! Thanks for checking out my video. Best of luck with your catch up!
You had me at printable! 🤣 You are just what I was looking for! I decided to do monthly project life for the last couple of yrs since I’ve just been doing random 12x12 pages. I didn’t have an album that was flowing for our real life. This video rocks! I’m definitely subscribing.
Hi Kim! It's looking like 2020 (and probably 2021) will be the same format for me and I'm 100% ok with that! I just couldn't abandon PL, but weekly was overwhelming. Add to that a severe lack of photos for most of 2020 (how many pics of my kids doing the same thing day in and day out in our home can I possibly cram in a book?!) I'm so glad you found inspiration in this video!
New subscriber here. I was doing project life in my 12 x 12, actually a red binder with leftover photos from my December Daily. I have over 100 photos, that I did not use, so I'm putting them in this 12 x 12 binder. Needed to watch a project life video and none were coming up on my feed. So I did a search and watched your video. I love it. I used this method in 2015 in a 12 x 12 December Daily. I had so much fun with all the pocket sizes. It was beautiful. I've moved on to a 6 x 8 album for DD, but I was remembering how much fun I had by watching your video.
Hi Lucy! (Sorry for the super late reply) I'm so glad you found my channel. When I created this album I was at a crossroads; keep documenting our life, or abandon the whole thing. I just couldn't walk away. I think this format is much more reasonable for the season of life my family is in...BUSY. That reminder of how fun a project is hit me a few years ago when I was watching someone create smaller scrapbook style spreads in a travelers notebook. I'm glad I could offer a spark to reminder you of a fun project too!
Absolutely love the first 6x8 page for each month. Do you have a tutorial on how you made those. Really great idea....I’d love to try it! I also really like how you laid out your thought process...very helpful....thank you!
@@kellianderson7083 Wonderful, thank you so much! I've made one for January and February this year....just sort of cobbled it together in the Project Life App, and it's my new favorite way to do things. Thank you for the inspiration!
I love your style, it looks so simple and very easy for you to do, hope I could do something like yours. May I ask what font you used on the title page? It looks so nice.
Hi there! Thanks for watching my video and the kind comment. :) The font I used is Chin Up Buttercup. Here is a link: creativemarket.com/Nickylaatz/2045262-Chin-Up-Buttercup%21-Font-Duo-Extras
Hi there! Sorry I didn't reply sooner. For this project, I used photoshop, but you could do the same thing using Canva. In fact, that's probably much easier. I hope that helps.
hello! i love your book. I just started project life. I was wondering about the monthly journal card with the photo, how did you print that out on a 6x8 paper? do you have a special printer for that? or can you just set your printer for that size paper? thanks for any help!
Hi Christine! Thanks for watching my video. I just print onto 8.5x11 paper and trim it out. It's so easy, especially if you create a template for yourself.
My kind of scrapbooking is more about the pictures and not the embellishments, so I appreciate your style.
Great use of stash and satisfaction of completing a year of memories. It looks great. Only 8 hours, I’m in awe! Thanks for sharing. 🤩
Love this! Very simple but yet it captures your special moments. Thanks for sharing!

That’s a great point! I hadn’t thought of it that way.

Also love your Album and how you've formatted it and kept it simple to get it done 😊 great job!! 💕.
Love how your album turned out!

Thanks for the flip-through. Great inspiration!
Thanks for sharing, I'd love to see a PS/PSE video, I'm still learning it and there is so much there, it's a struggle

Hi Geanette! I don’t have a video for the 6x8 monthly spreads, but you’ve inspired me to put a quick one together! Look for that on my channel soon.

Wondering if you could tell me what you are using to put "January stories" on your photos? Thank you!!

Are all the page protectors Studio Calico?
Hi Julie! Yes, I ordered them all from Studio Calico.
