both very familiar. Due to the intensity of the
connections we may have with both, it may be
difficult to tell the difference between a soul mate
and a twin flame. Soul mates can be an individual's
best friend, lover, teacher, parent, sibling, pet, etc.
Many people use the term "soul mate" to speak of
their dream man or woman.

If you are healthily in your own skin and connected with yourself before you meet TF, the drama will be avoided. Self love first then look for a partner. TF may show up because your not searching outside yourself for love. Then it's just unconditional no drama love.

I remember a while back when I was with my twin where we were hugging and laughing then we both looked each other in the eyes, shook hands and said "it's nice to meet you" at the exact same time. We both thought the same thing and not just that but there were multiple times where we would say "I love you" simultaneously. And that happened the night we were physically separated and my twin had to move.
Anyone who thinks the 'soulmate' intensity is the same as the 'twinsoul' intensity has never met their Twinsoul. They're world's apart.
Honestly man I'm so glad I was blessed to meet mine at this young age of 18, everything you've described in this video is spot on and I had my self saying,"woah" a couple of times as I think back and it relates so closely to things that happened.
When my girl came along she was the perfect height for me, her personality and affection compliments mine and the pieces in which I don't have in myself she fills perfectly in the same way I fill hers.
We are committed to our relationship and are learning to balance our regular lives with also keeping a strong connection and trust between each other.
When I first met my husband (my soulmate - meaning we had spent a or more previous lives together as husband and wife) I could hear a click. But as the years went by I was unhappy even though he was a good provider, treated me well, loved me, etc I was pining for something I could not put a finger on it. Thank fuck I found this video!!!! My relationship makes so much more sense. I felt all those intense feelings at the beginning and now because he ran I have been trying to kid myself that it wasn't real at all and he lied. I am deeply deeply hurt and have never felt this pain because it was so sudden and shocked me when he just chose to run back to his ex and ignore me. However now I understand he chose ego. Having someone to fall back on who you know you can go to and use whenever you want even though you only feel pity for them is not love. That is following your ego. I knew he had an ego but I wanted to help heal him. He said he felt he had a weight off his shoulders, and that he felt bad energies being lifted off him. He said I took the bad energy and transformed it into good. Bare in mind he is not spiritual at all / wasn't before this. I wasn't massively, I had read The Secret and had been interested in yoga and practised meditation but that was it. We met randomly somewhere neither of us had been before and never normally go. He was in a relationship with her. I was there because I was seeing his friend. His friend then invited me to a party and I saw in a picture that he (my supposed twin flame) was there so I went. We were laughing almost immediately. We saw each other almost every day and talked probably every hour. He called me all the time and I called him and we would just talk and talk and talk and laugh about everything. We made love so many times. He said it was so strange he was never normally like this. His friends all thought it was strange too, seeing him like that. Most times when we saw each other we would just lay on the bed in his room with almost no furniture and not get bored at all. I have never had that with anyone else. He is from a completely different world. I was brought up well and went to good schools and am educated, he has been involved in crime and various situations with police etc since he moved out when he was 14. Anyone would think we are crazy. I know I am young (20) and he is 26 but I just KNOW this is something I will never ever get again. I have never felt so inseparable from someone. My heart physically aches but I am so glad I feel some kind of understanding. I know my mission now and am happy to fulfil a dream of mine in the summer, to work with abused ex circus elephants in Asia / Thailand or Bali. This only came to me recently but I know it's what I need to do. I have never felt more myself when I am with him. I have definitely been awakened in many many ways. My thoughts process much faster and stronger and I am so confident in the things I love and am not afraid to express that anymore. I used to think about 'what should be' and believe people wouldn't like what I like and think I am strange but it doesn't matter because its my path. I just go with what my spirit feels now instead of over thinking my every move. Everything just seems to work out. I see it everyday. Things I have wanted for a long time suddenly appear. And if they don't work out how I thought, the outcome is better than expected anyway! I even thought about him before I met him. I wanted a bad boy who was also smart and intelligent and treated me well. And there he was.Not gonna lie anyone else who is having symptoms of awakening - it is not an easy ride. But I promise it is so so so worth it because you are dealing with all the bad things you needed to get out of yourself. I no longer need to control everything. I feel so happy I could cry sometimes just looking at parts of nature or even when I am out running. He must deal with his demons before we can go on this journey together and I knew that all along. I must also have this time to follow what I need to do to grow. It is scary and I am looking to find some guidance in holistic healers to help me understand more. But I am constantly wanting to learn, constantly watching documentary after documentary and remembering things from years ago so easily!! Even small things my friends had said at school. I don't even need to write anything down I just absorb it all. I have so much to talk about with other people and it is truly a gift. I am unsure if he is my real twin flame but I can definitely say I relate to a lot of those feelings and I know he did too.

Sounds more like what's called a false twin flame or twin flame counterfeit, as opposed to the real deal (and just bad relationships generally speaking). A lot of people actually misinterpret what TFs are about and really end up deceiving themselves as a result.

I just met this girl at work and I have never bonded so quickly and intensely with anyone ever in my life. And I'd like to mention that things that I saw around were what I thought to be impossible, like the gigantic line tree was gone and I had a hot tub in my dream. I could never afford to get that tree cut down and never really wanted to but as it turns out, I had to get it cut down because it obstructed the view in the back and for safety measures I wanted it cut but still could to afford it. I kinda have up on the idea and then, Well, something unbelievable happened!
A guy offered to cut that 75 ft pine tree down for $600. I thought, "Timber!" Lol
So, my point is that I was shown a glimpse of the future in that dream so that I would never give up on the love that was coming and that I know I deserve.
Back to the dream.
I was in a hot tub at the back of my home and having a glass of wine or some drink. I can remember seeing me soooo happy and content and having this feeling as me in the future, "this is real. I'm with the one." I was smiling staring up at the stars feeling so happy, so content,
so at peace and with no thought of whether I was safe or not. I just was. :) and then I heard her calling for me from the sun porch area.
(This makes me laugh because she Would have to call on me a few times if I was relaxing happily under a beautiful starry night. :). )
So, (this is cute) she gets me to come to her by showing concern for my being in there too long and the whammy! "and miss you!"
I immediately got out and as I opens the sun porch door, there she was!!!!!!!! xoxoxoxoxoxoox
She looked like an Angel. I can still see her. She had a white fluffy robe on, blonde hair (cute bob shoulder length) she had this love twinkle in her eyes for me and she smiled from her soul instantly when she saw me. Her head was leaning towards her shoulder and her arms were stretched out for me!!!!!

We all have our beliefs and mine, based on logic, scientific observation, and a lack of evidence for a god presumes that a deity or creator doesn't exist. Doesn't make sense to me why a twin flame would "run" or feel incomplete. To even BE in a space where you attract a person of twin flame potential you have do the work necessary to become whole and fully accept yourself flaws and all and not come from a place of fear, thus you attract someone who mirrors that. If a "twin flame" is running this is more than likely not your twin flame but yet a mirror aspect of you that you need to accept and integrate first. aka fear of commitment, fear of being vulnerable etc.

Seems like twin flames are much like the mere "karmic" ones - meant to deal with unfinished businesses from past lifetimes, intense connections usually, but not necessarily the best for each other. There may be karmic relationships that involve twin flames, but not all twin flames are intense, problematic alongside ecstatic. Much like a gargantuan rollercoasters. There are spiritually fulfilling relationships that actually exists in our midst that complete each other in all the crucial levels THAT ARE MOSTLY SERENE, not at all a lifelong ride in a rollercoaster. And that's the kind of relationships that inspires people and must aspire for if they are working their way to return to their maker when their lives on earth is done.
