If it works for you then it is the best! 😆 And the tortilla is amazing...as long as you don't eat it too often. We didn't overdo it so we always enjoyed it.
How exciting! We hesitate saying the standard "Have a great time!", because the Camino is so different from normal vacations, and the experiences are different for everyone. But, we did have a great time, and I hope you do too. 😄 Buen Camino!!
Love all this information and what you like or not! What backpack do you use? I think you mention this at the beginning of your coming, but I cannot remember?
We were using cheap backpacks we'd gotten on Amazon just to travel with. We had been using them for a while and they were working fine, but we realized that for the Camino where you are wearing them for so long every day, they really were too small for our frames so while they were decent packs, they just didn't fit us properly. In any case they are no longer available. I would recommend going with a good brand like Osprey and getting fit for it at a store like REI where they can help you get one that fits your body for best results.
I swear, David looks good in everything even a cheap rain poncho! 🤣
Ooh, now I want a Spanish tortilla de patata. I like my Merrell Moab hiking shoe. THEY'RE THE BEST AND I'LL GO TO MY GRAVE OVER THAT! 😅😂
