I just bought a Bodhran. But now I want one of these. I'm a drummer (set) but have been traveling for years and looking for a good companion drum that I can carry and feel at least close to how drum set makes me feel. I've tried bongos, ,dholak, djembe, kashakas, and so far nothing is close. The Bodhran has been great so far. But this looks really really cool
Yeah The Bodhran is so great! I’d definitely recommend one of these, they are extremely light and have a real nice sound. Not quite as nice as a clay one but of course, more practical and less breakable haha
Very nice and thanks for sharing, Have you ever tried to put a mic through the mic hole that Meinl Ibo has in it? I have that same drum and am trying to figure out the best way to amplify it for drum circle. It's too quiet in that drum circle setting to appreciate all the cool sounds it can make.

You should try cajon. It's a drumset but a box.
