  • The University of Windsor’s Department of Physics is home to an excellent undergraduate program in Medical Physics. Many of our graduates have gone on to amazing careers in the healthcare industry as clinical medical physicists.
In this video, UWindsor alumna Dr. Khadija Sheikh, PhD, DABR (Proton Physicist, Johns Hopkins University) answers the question, “What Makes Studying Medical Physics at UWindsor So Valuable and Interesting?”
Home to approximately 12,000 undergraduate students and 6000 graduate students, the University of Windsor is situated in the southwestern corner of Ontario, Canada - a stone’s throw across the Detroit River from the vibrant city of Detroit, Michigan, USA.
The Department of Physics’ internationally recognized undergraduate program in Medical Physics has been graduating highly-skilled and sought-after alumni since 2011. Our program prepares students for the rigors of a CAMPEP-accredited graduate program and residency, providing them with a unique advantage when they apply for coveted seats in competitive graduate programs in medical physics. Other graduates have gone on to professional programs in medicine, dentistry, and optometry.
If you want to learn more about this exciting application of physics in a very high-demand medical field, contact us at physics@uwindsor.ca or learn more at our website, www.uwindsor.c....
