SPOILER ALERT...The location at 14:33 was actually because my research on famous Czechcagoans included George Halas, the son of Czech immigrants. He founded the Chicago Bears American football team in 1920 , and they are still owned by his daughter. He was also a player and coach for the team and was nicknamed "Papa Bear".

This reminds me that we were planning on visiting Chicago on our US trip that was supposed to happen this summer. The Pilsen area which is just near the start of the Čermák's road in Chicago is named after a Czech city called Plzeň, we're brewing our most famous Pilsner Urquell beer there.

We don't even say 'saint Wenceslaus' as it's the Latinzed version. We say svatý Václav and he's patron saint of the Czech lands :) Václav the Good was the duke of Bohemia in 10th century. He was very popular among people. Maybe you know a British Chrismas carol about the Good king Wenceslas. That's the guy. He was born to pagan family and his father died young, so he was raised by his grandmother who was converted to Christianity early on, which made him probably the first Bohemian ruler to be raised as a Christian. Alas his grandmother was strangled by his mother and he himself was assassinated by his younger brother (known as Bolesav the Cruel), which made them martyrs and saints :)

Cool video with some history I didn't even know about as a Czech. Thank you. :)
Another interesting thing is, that all names you mentioned are kind of changed to sound more English. For example, the original form of Cermak surname should by Čermák. You can read Č like "cz" in "Czechia" or ch in "chips". Even more interesting is the Wenceslaus form of the name. It sounds strange and hardly pronounceable even for us, the Czech original form is Václav.
