This interview saddened me. She'd described herself as being "interesting" and I say she's the Best singer I've witnessed so far. I mean, nobody has ever made me feel the way she did when she sang her heart out and she isn't my generation. She had a very unique talent and a true natural beauty, so beautiful! May you Rest in Peace Dear Whitney, hugging your Baby Girl Bobbi Kristina.
Whitney Houston was so present, charming, articulate, intelligent, classy, with a wonderful head on her shoulders! What REALLY happened to her that made her self destructive? It's mind blowing
@Shandra Smith Hmm well i think her Dutch ancestry definitely contributed to her being tall, athletic and strong, mixed with african genes it created a powerhouse

@Shandra Smith Well. yeah but you could pull a pure African from say Nigeria but he or she wouldnt have as much athletic prowess of someone with mixed heritage, quite a few studies you can read on this, African Americans, Jamaicans etc. all have some degree of mixed heritage and wipe the floor clean in terms of winning any athletic competitive event.

Her great grandfather was 100% pure dutch from NL.
And we care because? That is definitely not the ancestor she had her talents from. Her talents are rooted in Africa. She is an African American.
