@@TheTrashCanFurry idk if dolphin dive is faster but in the later rounds its safer to knife since it doesnt leave you stuck in place for that split second. Melee allows you to keep moving and sprint right after which makes a huge difference with a horde of super sprinters on your toes. Both are better than buying the perk normally tho and each could have their use cases so its good to let other people know all of their options.
Dasher is completely redundant when you can just swap to your melee for infinite tac sprint for free. Shocked that wasn't brought up once. No fall damage is negated by PHD Flopper dives unless you are really scared of slipping off a ledge?
Fun fact, you can also set auto tac sprint in the menu and lower your dead zones, any time you make a stick input it'll tac sprint. Everyone likes the PhD slide but the tac sprint one can consecutively hit zombies. I did it with a whole train once.
melee is not a tac sprint.... it's faster than any weapon because of no speed debuff but you can see for yourself if you pull out the melee, sprint regularly, and then sprint button again you will see a noticeable speed increase for a few seconds and that is your tac sprint. just less visible as no weapon raise

M with the PhD major augment that increases tactical sprint is an OP combination essentially giving you an extra 10 seconds of survivability, knocking down zombies. This is way more useful than the slide, which can only kill five zombies and will not save you on any round past 30. he confuse me how you ranked it so low to mid, but I assume he just sits in a spot when he does high rounds.
Reason i use “Dasher” is because it makes training so much easier and helps me run away from mangler projectile spam plus amalgamation and abomination attacks

@@Marcosss-7-years-ago Weapon swap speed on speed cola makes that a non issue, also it takes like .5 seconds to swap to akimbo pistols anyway so again, not every helpful at all. Also since you are already moving as fast as possible you can just dodge them and train them into a good spot to swap then shoot? There's zero reason to run this augment when you have it for free already.
BTW staminup already makes all weapons sprint at at least the default speed, pistols and SMGz have a sprint speed bonus on top of that So the reason the LMG and equipment was the same speed is that staminup boosts your LMGs sprinting speed to be the same as things like ARs and Tatical rifles
You weren’t dying to the prone dive because the dolphin dive seems to mitigate your fall damage. On top of that it looks like it stops you from taking fatal damage if you take a dive. Also, funnily enough this past night alone I’ve had three instances of decent randoms underestimating the Terminus fall and turning themselves into pancakes (the second guy literally flattened himself trying to revive the first lol).
The fall damage augment isn't to protect you from dying in the fall is to protect you from taking so much damage that when you get hit next immediately after falling you go down immediately
I don’t know if it’s just my thirst for a great zombies game again, but doing the same thing, over and over and over hasn’t bored me at all. Yes 2000 critical kills is a lot, but I’m finding it more fun, each gun I get mystic gold
Same here dude. This zombies is one of the best zombies ever made. If you ignore nostalgia. I think this IS the best one they’ve ever made. A ton of fun content with the Easter eggs. Tons of cool calling cards and challenges to go for. Absolutely loving it. And the new movement is SO good in zombies. Absolutely in love with it. Nebula is sick as well.
For hard target, if you enable sprint assist, you will pretty much always tactical sprint by hitting the sprint button. this will reduce the average damage you will take in a full game. pretty easy trick if you dont find yourself tac sprinting all that much
Just run FIREBOMB & INCENDIARY augments and thank me later.1 pull of the trigger and you can kill 50 zombies.Does not happen all the time tho so be mindful
After playing Terminus as much as I have, the fall damage augment is a lifesaver. Even on Liberty Falls, if a Mangler or Abomination is on you, you take some fall damage at all, and the chance you die goes up by a lot. The damage reduction while tac sprinting is nice, but I’m usually diving out of areas to save myself, not tac sprinting. Maybe down to personal preference, but it feels useful in more situations to me.
I did have one occasion where I took damage from zombies, jumped off the roof, and I landed on top of the poison cloud and died of fall damage and poison. So, in that exact one situation I would have lived with the augment, lol
I think Dasher is incredibly useful, but you most likely don't have a lot of people in your lobbies who die. So you're thinking in terms of zombie invasion. But in terms of getting up people in terminus which is such a large map tac Sprint Dasher is essential for being able to get people up at higher rounds when everyone is spread out
It doesnt limit your speed when you use gung ho to sprint with equipment in MP. I use the spy cam 100% and take advantage of this. Interesting it's nerfed in zombies. Perhaps an oversight in MP?
On Terminus if pap is down bottom you can actually jump from the top rail and land on it but you will die without fall damage immunity. I didn't think I was gonna make the jump but I in fact did and died
Speed runners use the fall dmg 1 for terminus as you can jump straight down to the platform instead of using the pack a punch elevator, i mean you can just jump in the water instead but it has some neiche uses for speedrunning...i will never understand why the game doesnt just tell you the percentages in the augment tooltip for other things tho
Hey just wanted to say, love the vids and keep up the great work! Also yesterday when I playing, I loaded my save game and remembered having different augments on but then I changed them before I loaded back in and noticed that my speed cola augment changed from faster charge to even faster reload( which is the one I selected before loading back in). So once you buy the perks, if you want to use different augments without restarting then save quite and select aguments then start the load save then you’ll still have your perks but the way the act would change based on what you picked.
Am I the only one confused on how he thinks throwing equipment for longer tac sprint is better than just having the longer tac sprint augment? Maybe I need to rewatch but sounds like stalker is the best followed by the longer running imo

When the vermin rounds happen you run really slow while there’s a blizzard. Will try and let you know. Thanks
i thought the fall damage one would be cool, i mean other games fall damage can be an issue but in cod zombies i think i go down to fall damage once in ever hundred games. stopping a down in 1/100 games just isnt worth it. maybe new maps might make it more worth it
Bowling ally tight horde while rumning in circles throw tomohawk full speed boost grab it throw again till end of round. Works great when your low on ano and manglers cant seem to comprehend your speed lmao
Tac sprint was definitely s tier extra 10 seconds on the running is insane Combine that with the PhD Dr. ram you just buffed a major argument by 10 seconds what other perk does that I thought a zombie TH-camr could see such things since the perks in this game working conjunction they don’t work on the same system as the last game, therefore you cannot base it on the same level as you judge the others.
You can set one of your build as zombie build when selecting weapons. You basically get to use your own attachments whenever you purchase a wallbuy or get it from the box

@@DoctorDeathFPS have tried all and get why some would prefer the slide and it is a lot of fun, I just prefer the extra tac sprint and dr ram on PhD as I play with hybrid sprint behaviour so tac sprint automatically engages and with dr ram I don’t have to press a single extra button. I just run straight through. Never dissed any combos, purely voiced what I’ve been enjoying.
I don’t get it. Why would you need speed and more running in a round-based zombies game? I always thought it was better to keep the zombies behind and close to you to avoid them spreading around. The best way to do that is by walking and only running when you need the distance. So, I find these perk augments kinda useless.
Generally speaking, it isn't necessary for low rounds. It's when you're dodging 6 mangler shots from different directions and avoiding super sprinters that extra speed/stamina is necessary. Your base walk speed at round 40+ is useless honestly

I think the dasher is a really great option but he was thinking in terms of running from zombies. It's essential for Terminus if someone falls down.
IDK if anyone knew this but if you dolphin dive while going for a perk mid-dive when you press X or Square the Animation will skip the Animation

It’s not really that necessary when you unlock PhD Slider and Tribologist, since you can slide cancel rapidly around the map a la BO3.

You can die on terminus if you jump off the area with the brief case and miss the water

Mixing the equipment speed boost with Speed Cola's "use equipment faster" would be crazy, expecially with the Combat Axe
It is indeed crazy, I have this combo equipped and it can help you escape from getting surrounded.
Love how one of the major augments is just a third of phds BASE perk abilities
The free faller augment also gets rid of that "stun" when you land. You can hit the ground running

I was trained to not use equipment. Bo2 to Cold War equipment weren’t ever strong enough in late rounds
shock charges if thrown in the right spot can stun entire hordes and can stun the enemies around you if you get trapped
