The message of the Cross. Its the Cross that Jesus excepted and thru His finished work the foundation of redemption is layed before the world to repent and recieve. It amazes me that so many speak against this. It is the gospel Jesus commands us to tell to all the earth as Gods good news to all mankind. There will always be scoffers... God says in these last days it shall abound. Brother Swaggart holds true thru it all the truth in the message of the cross. My prayers always i lift for my precious Brother. Like him I have not been perfect but praise God that thru it all I am on overcomer today thru Jesus Christ my precious Lord and Savior

I love their ministry in music. They are so anointed. Personally in my opinion Randy is a showboat. He always brings attention to himself with his exaggerated body language. If you notice, he always arches his back and leans backwards.

We've all been lied too Cathy - the modern day Christian message is blasphemous once the scriptures are actually read - for instance we were told of a Messiah returning with hugs kisses n cotton candy - maybe you can make sense of why all ethnic people are going to fight him upon the return

Our Redeemer Lives
In Leviticus 25:48-49, the Bible talks about that kinsman, redeemer:
48. After that he is sold he may be redeemed again; one of his brethren may redeem him:
49. Either his uncle, or his uncle’s son, may redeem him, or any that is nigh of kin unto him of his family may redeem him; or if he be able, he may redeem himself.
According to this law, the redeemer had to be three things. He had to be a close relative; he had to be somebody who would be able to pay the price to buy you back out of hock; and he also had to be somebody that was big enough, bad enough, tough enough, rough enough, and had the stuff enough to beat up on all of your enemies. Now, the Old Testament scriptures is a “type” of the work of Jesus Christ.
The Bible says in Roman 7:14:
For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
Now, everybody born after Adam was sold into sin and needs redeeming.
The problem is that none of your relatives can help you because they are in the same situation as you are. Your uncle can’t do it, your cousin can’t do it and none of your close relatives have the power to redeem you from that anti-God monstrosity called “sin”.
You need a relative with some real power! That’s where Jesus comes in! For the human family, Jesus Christ completely fulfilled the kinsman requirements for redemption. Look at it now, Jesus is the closest relative you ever had and will ever have.
In Ephesians 4:6 - Jesus is your father, in Galatians 4:19 - Jesus is your mother, in Hebrews 2:11 - Jesus is your brother, in Proverbs 7:3, 4 - Jesus is your sister and in Leviticus 25:49 - he’s your uncle and your cousin. Can you imagine that - daddy Jesus, mamma Jesus, sister Jesus, brother Jesus, uncle Jesus and cousin Jesus?
The Bible said that the kinsmen could be a man’s brother. If his brother couldn’t do it, his brother’s son, (your father’s brother, who is your uncle and your father’s brother’s son who is your first cousin) could do it.
Jesus went to the cross, fulfilled the kinsman’s redemption and in the Bible typology, Jesus became your uncle and your cousin. Therefore, he fulfilled it as the close relative. He was able to beat up all of your enemies, and with his blood, he was able to pay the price to buy you back out of sin.
In Acts 20:28, we are blood - brought, in Revelation 1:5, we are blood - washed, and in 1 John 1:7, we are blood covered. We are brought, washed, and covered by the precious blood of Jesus Christ and his wonderful, extraordinary, supernatural birth made it possible for Jesus to have that blood.
