Goated comment bro. I just learned that F3 is what I now assume the shortcut to the pearl shop is lol. It took me forever to learn that left control let you move the mouse around to physically click the pearl shop. I am all over the damn place in this game.
I wouldn't call myself a "P2w" player, but I have a good job so I am not opposed to spending money on games if I want to. A couple months ago they sold a bunch of the "buy one, get one free" pearl boxes, so I spent a couple hundred bucks and bought them all. That being said... I still have like 60k pearls just sitting on my account, because they haven't had anything in the store that I have deemed a worthy investment. This poor guy is just spending his money on anything in the shop that he can actually KINDA figure out what it does in the game. Honestly I feel bad for him, but he didn't even watch a single guide or anything, he just walked into the BDO Pearl stripclub and started throwing money around wildly

Same here. There was a "buy one, get one free" offer in steps. Buy step 1, then step 2, total of 2 per family. I bought them. It was about $500. I still have 19k pearls on my acc. I only buy things on discount so I am always looking forward to the next update, lol. I buy outfits and profession outfits for my toons, weight, spaces (for stables, workers, and storage; CP are gold, lol), 1 costume for my wagon, fishing boat, and the other 2 boats... just cosmetics and just on sale! I am not spending pearls/money on stuff to upgrade, reset skills, and whatnot. But I do love my pets and maids, lol. Most things you can get in-game or through the daily gifts and events. I'd rather make money in-game and buy PEN gear than waste time and money trying to upgrade stuff. I've failed with 96% FS and I've passed to PEN a necklace with just 2,9% FS, LOL! I was going to process them so I thought "why not destroy them by trying to upgrade my TET to PEN."
PS. I am afraid to look at my purchase history of ACoins on my Steam Client, lol.

I got tent, flute, an outfit and a horse outfit right away lol. Not immediately, but after a couple of weeks. Inventory slots: they give you so many free ones just doing the quests, I rarely ever run out of space between the free ones and the loyalty ones. Same with weight. I grind until overweight, put crap on horse, keep grinding, etc etc. so weight is never a problem either. They give you everything for free if you wait long enough lol
Yeah the free inventory and weight is really good. And if you get a few maids (which will happen for free through events if you give it enough time) you shouldn't ever need to buy inventory/weight for any character except for like, lifeskilling purposes (more weight/inventory for more AFK)
Developers would see this and NOT fix the issues so more people waste money like this

I bought all the T10 horse outfits and T9 outfits.... thinking they could be put on anything, As a veteran player who has been playing for 7 years with 35K hours. I wanted a fire pegasus and Pearl Abyss took that from me!!!! They did refund all my horse outfits when I asked in a support ticket.
PA is goated for that alone. Most games would have hit you with the ol sucks to suck.
Hey Blue @ around 31:03 Mark. Those outfit boxes where it showed Sold out, it wasn't because he bought them it's because they are unavailable to him as it is only for returning players. The same thing happens to me as Returning player those are available but outfits that are for new player it shows as “sold out”

NGL, I actually bought the frost knight horse skin for t10 pegasus before getting the horse, but I used it as motivation to grind mythical censers out. The investment made it more important for me to actually grind out the t10, bc otherwise I would have wasted $27.

I like these kinds of videos, because it shows a lot of what not to do. But to this day, despite trying a few times, I'm still not 100% clear on what I actually SHOULD do. I feel like every time I play, I get through the season, then spend a few days wandering around kind of aimlessly, and then quit. Which sucks, because I LIKE the idea of having a game where I could just do some grinds and chill. But I still haven't figured out how to get to that point. Maybe next time will be the time.

If your friend told you that you should spend your money on outfits to sell in the market before spending it on important things for your progress, it means that your friend is possibly using you to buy outfits. Means he getting more progress then you, with your own money.

Been playing BDO since '17. It took four years for me to get the tent. I'll be honest; I got 25 minutes into this video and couldn't watch anymore. My god, I'm glad I'm poor.
Took me till level 20 to find out that there was a setting for camera shake in combat I was feeling sick after a 2 day 13 hour play though and I was stuck on the food comes first because the quest was bugged for 2 days I had to restart the quest after messing around and trying to delete my character just to make a new seasonal character
you could have all the stuff if you play a season character and follow the main quest line.
I honestly do it everyday everything stacks on the stuff I already have in my storage I hate clutter and like knowing what I am having
I like building my way up to learning what im doing. Before I do that, I just run fast and bash my head into the wall.

i got a nice outfit by buying the ingredients for the outfit in the central market, using silver and a house and a worker to make it up, I did not spend any real money in the game, the point I'm making is I go for the challenge of the game, anyone that throws real money at a game will end up getting bored of the game and dump it within a couple of weeks.

Came back to the game after not playing for years. It was great finding out they deleted everything years ago. 20 days in to new account and I'm only at level 58 and using Narchillan set. And It's gonna stay that way for a long time because I'm a Shai Life Skiller. Manos and Silver Embroidered Clothes is where all my money goes(That and buying mats for crafting). Them nuking my account allows me to consolidate all the Life Skill gear onto one of my Shai this time around. My life skiller was a witch but then they came out with the Shai and I swapped to that. Turning stuff into cron stones would be pointless for me since the game keeps giving me hundreds to thousands a day for free. Got to wait for maintenance to get done so I can finish turning my Improved Epheria Sailboat into a Caravel and get to level 60 for family storage.

Maids >> weight. since they are account wide. If you set on a class weight is fine, if you find yourself switching around a lot and enjoying the variety, maids are the way to go especially for sycria, akman, hystria and so on
