It's already likely that at least some of the ducks will return at some point; this was their childhood home, where they felt safe and cared for; that leaves an impression~
I love that the turtles currently have no competition when feeding, except for each other! 😊 And I hope (but doubt) that the other ducks come back. But then there’s still that younger set of 3(?) that could be mature enough for the ponds now.

"wholesome" is the exact word that comes to my mind when I watch his videos. I always find myself thinking "his parents did a wonderful job". At the risk of sounding like an old fogey, it's nice to see in this day & age. The world would be a better place with more people like this in it. (Too corny?)
The pond looks amazing! You need to plant some trees or shrubs around the pond. And one day a beautiful tree swing. You can make your own little utopia.

Although, with the amazing power of hindsight, it might have been a good idea if he had put some big piles of cinder blocks, concrete pipes, logs, etc in those ponds before they filled up. Maybe something for his next project?

Hey, how about a several floating platforms anchored several yards from shore. She could sleep on one of them, and the turtles could sun themselves; assuming they could climb up. Don't ducks love their mommy very much? Maybe you in their eyes are their mommy and they took off searching for you ince you suddenly disappeared? Or Maybe it's a seasonal thing where they comeback every once in a while for a family gathering? Or could be nasty poachers

Suggestions:
- Make a gravel beach ramp for the turtles not to stir the bottom
- Add a polarized lens to the camera to filter the water reflection
God idea - not certain if the camera being used, can be fitted with a polarized filter, but it would certainly cut out the glare!

They are doing great! I released them onto another pond because the first group of ducks would attack them anytime they got close.
