The Full Dress shoulder plaid

The dress shoulder-plaid fell out of fashion during the early 1970s, but it is now making a strong comeback, both as civilian formal and- including the re-introduction of the scarlet full-dress uniform for the kilted regiments of the Canadian Army.
Here I show and explain the plaid worn by Privates and Corporals of the kilted regiments of the Canadian Army.
I've measured and made notes of this 1909 Other Ranks' plaid, and it will now enter the Seaforth Collection as a 'sealed pattern' for future tailors and Quarter-masters to refer to.
