    I notice a lot of camping enthusiasts have Toyota trucks. It’s all I would ever depend on if I was in the middle of nowhere.

      Other than basic maintenance I’ve never had a Toyota break down on me. First gen Tacoma is tried and true in terms of reliability. I think it’s because of the simple design that was perfected over the years.

      Thank you! Sold it to a great guy with a first gen taco. Will do a tour as soon as I figure out my shocks and leafs.

    A NEW ADVENTURE! YESSS!! I love how committed you are to getting the shot by placing camera, turning truck around, driving back to beginning of shot, turning around again, driving for the shot. Then picking up camera to move to next location and rinse and repeat several times. That had to burn up a pretty good chunk of time! Mad respect.

    Why did you turn around? That road might as well be paved lol

      Hard to tell from the video but the angle was too great and it woulda either flipped my truck on its side or I would gotten pinned in due to hight of camper. I agree tho, without the camper it woulda been no problem.

    I think you mentioned in another video you added a leaf to the rear springs? Is this all you did to the rear suspension to compensate for the camper weight? Was it enough? From the video, it looks like the lateral sway on it is a bit more than the suspension can handle... at least for the off road stuff. How does it feel to drive?

      Honestly i keep forgetting it’s back there and am adding a sticker on the windshield to remind myself. Only upgrade was a add a leaf. Truck handles the camper extremely well.

      @@YoterHome thats great - any estimates as to it's weight?

    • @YoterHome
      @YoterHome  ปีที่แล้ว

      I’d say 500lbs if I had to guess. But I’m hoping to get it weighed soon. Will keep you posted

    Love your videos. Keep them coming❤. Do you have solar panels on roof connected to your power station/ jackery and or with inverter for A/C?

    • @YoterHome
      @YoterHome  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for the support! No solar. Just a G-Power 1200w (U1000) power supply and a LiFePO4 battery. Keeping it simple for now
