This song came to my head yesterday. I listened to this song so many times in highschool. This brings back the memories. Wow...We are old! These were the days.
I saw them at new castle nsw. And i met ben and his big fella who played the big base. And i pulled out a nice ozzy bush joint and made them smile we smoked that together . We talked about the waves at byron bay and thats there next stop. Was a good choof a boys 🤙
look at Leons magical smile it will warm any suffering with increible musical energy of healing. we all need some healing so many need it and will benefit from love and understanding I love whole heartedly every member of this band
@fonkdasnyguh going off the haze from the audience at 2.58 id say they arent the only ones. And as someone who has been to a few harper concerts ... I ALWAYS save a couple loose joints for this song. Always.
I don't blaze, but I understand his lyrics and logic, and agree that his beliefs should be understood and realized. Think about, understand it and then comment.
This is 110% the best version of this song. Absolutely incredible and back when I was a freshman in college in 2009, it’s how I found out about bonnaroo and since then I have been 7 times and would have been more had life not gotten in the way. This song is so beautiful and important to me it’s unreal. Much love
Holy shit! This brings back some memories!! I was at Bonnaroo at this performance! And yes, I burnt one down during this song! I burnt many down! I have never seen so much smoke in one area in my life!! That was such a great weekend! Such a great artist! One of my favorites!!
I went to a slightly Stoopid show that was indoors and omg the smoke 🤣🤣 ppl were even pulling out bongs and passing blunts the to band while they played. It was great
Greek Theater, Griffith Park, L.A. 2006 Ben with Damian Marley opening. Leon came out at the top of the amphitheater smoking a huge hogs leg of a joint drumming all the way down and to the stage. The cloud rose from the pit in an instant. Thing of beauty.
Agreed! I was there during this performance. I haven't been since 2007. Used to go every year until 2007. Now it's gotten more mainstream. There are only a handful of bands that play there now worth seeing. The rest? No thanks!
So says the Lord of Lord and King of Kings (Jesus!): I am going to burn this whole Earth down! But by all means, enjoy the good herb in the meantime... and avoid narcotics. Peace to all mankind. Maranatha!
This guy done the impossible and wrote a 'sincere' song about weed! it's a piece of art!
Anyone else like this better than the studio version?

This has more of a reggae feel.

God bless everyone who's burning one down... the good Lord gave us the good herb --- to save us from alcoholism, drug OD's --- and cancer.
Yes! And the most terrible affliction of all - taking life seriously!! 😄
