Cheers for all the positive feedback! It was an honour for myself, Robbie Meade and the team to be part of Xgames after watching it ourselves for all these years! Hats off to all the other Real Mtb Riders and Filmers for killing it with their parts 🤯
So cool Danny! So many years after your first video that blew everyone's mind, and still doing the same, but even better! Last front flip could not have been any smoother!
@@freepalestine2434 Like other older artists he's getting more into abstract, non figurative riding, I particularly like the soft wheelstrokes on the leafy canvas at 0:40
Not certainly.... Some people like Danny were born on a bike. Seriously made to sit on that sort of light steel. Like it's born with them.. I think its why some can't do it. Most people can't do it... Its a skill yes but there's something else to this sore of thing... Like next level. Danny is mountain biking.
Yo... even though this didn't get a medal this is still a massive win for MTB, its just a massive showcase for what mtb is about, creativity and fun. My personal favourite this year 100%.
Actually these bikes mostly in videos are custom made for pro's based on their geometry, So, if you purchase one, unfortunately it won't be the same, That's why building a bike by yourself with different aftermarket parts is much better, although it could be expensive, but it's worth it.
Every time I watch Danny, I think: that’s amazing, how did he come up with that?! For the newcomers, you have to watch the older vids too. The inspired cycles one set in Edinburgh is the first and my favorite, but I’m a bit biased since I come from there. It adds an extra dimension when you know the location or the tricks
As a guy who doesn't know anything about mountain biking, I just want to say that I've seen a lot of videos of people doing tricks, but this is by far the most beautiful, honest and daring of them I've ever seen. Thanks for making my heart a bit warmer today! Greetings from Chile
Have you ever seen that Fabio video where he rides the ski slope away from the police it’s fuck8ng awesome he’s also heavily inspired by Danny you can see it in his videos
So sick. I didn't realize until the other week how far mountain biking has progressed. Had no clue how many BMX style tricks they're doing now. Really awesome. I'll stick to my easy trails on my Giant hardtail, lol.
Ok stop! Let's forget the drops, the jumps, the tree climbing branch jumping and then there's the beautifully crazy forward flip over the fence. I know that's really difficult but let's just admire the control that gets this guy there, seriously the nose manual (I believe is the term used for the front wheel balance) Its just sublime cycle control at such a crazy level, the circus would struggle to get staff that could do that. Danny I don my hat to you. And thank the team who filmed this and the edit crew. I'm subscribed . Oh and don't ask me for a go of my bike.
I was introduced to the mad skill of Danny MacAskill literally 10 years ago, with the RedBull video, Way Back Home. Glad to see he is still out there being the most epic rider I've ever seen.
Just watched this with my daughter who has recently had her training wheels removed. She said “oh my gosh” and “holy cow” throughout the video until the end where she said “let’s watch it again!” Thanks for the inspiration.
If you're doing it right, you'll become a better rider with time. Maybe not as fit, but skill continues to grow. I'm a better MTB'er at 47 than I was at 20, despite BMX and freestyle as a kid and teen.
I admire the skill and ease, Danny. I will never be a rider at your caliber, but it inspires me to be creative within my means and laugh and play at mountain biking! Love the jump over the branch too!
Impressed, and I wont even ask how many broken bones and/or injuries in general got you to this skill level. The jumping off the bike over the small branch thing you make look so simple :) Seriously though keep up the great work.
When I was teaching in an elementary school in Japan, I had my own corner featuring cool stuff from around the world and I featured you and your amazing skills. Huge hit with most of my kids. I say most because my first and second graders were too young to know what was going on. Third through sixth thought it was amazing.
Me as a kid in the ‘70s with my BMX buddies... “What if somebody could do a 360 off a jump? That’d be cool!” Their response... “Pssshh! Yeah right! HAHAHA!!!”

Amazing to see the level of precise momentum flow you've achieved. Hard work and time, great part!
I'd love to see the making of this film, always good to see the hard work you put into these films and prove that you are still human after all 😂😂😂
@Music, raw. Did we watch the same video?
@Music, raw. He was just more creative and MTB wasn’t ready for it yet. Like Erik Elstran in BMX
So cool Danny! So many years after your first video that blew everyone's mind, and still doing the same, but even better! Last front flip could not have been any smoother!
It's good CGI, I'll give him that, but I preferred MacAskill's older more realistic work.
