My life has been affected strongly by the alcohol (I'm polish) and basically everyone I know had the same or has a close one who went through something similar. It's just a quick background on the message the game is trying to send. Also, @Drae, please check in google translate the pronunciation of "Zalesie" - you will laugh at how it actually sounds ^^
Fun fact - the game supposed to imitate what rural Polish village after WWII looked like. It is pretty accurate from what I've seen and it brings back some sentiment towards my childhood (as in 80s and early 90s you could still experience very similar lifestyles in rural areas). Also, Zalesie is actual real village in Poland ;)
Drae you can't sell the mines if you keep setting them off. That said go call Indie, Icy and Skilly and watch the fun as you point them towards the "safe" bunker.

i love how grim this is to begin with, but also how realistic it is. i was trapped by alcohol after my wife died. it took 5 years and taking my daughter, leaving the city i grew up in to get away from it. it can be bad stuff.

Huh, this is oddly interesting for me. My father's family immigrated from Hungary ~1954-55. He was ~7 years old, and his family were dirt poor farmers there… like each kid getting a slice of bread and being told to go find some wild berries to eat with it. So, this game honestly seems a little on the optimistic side. Not like you could just go off doing things willy-nilly to feed you or your family, considering it was during the Soviet occupation. They kept a pretty close eye on what each farm had and left them with barely enough to scrape by. It does give a decently bleak atmosphere, though.
Fluffy can jump over fences so you don't have to open up gates when you ride on him. Oh and try one time to get really drunk and ride on Fluffy. Very entertaining! :D

If you cold turkey, it's very fatal with seizures n whatnot. Same with benzos. Those 2 are the only drugs that can kill you with withdrawals.. it's very sad. Maybe in this game you have to tamper..? Maybe there is a clinic idk lol.

Seems like this is kind of either a Life Sim with a Little City Builder or business management based on the town Development screen. Def looking to buy i just hope it doesn't get abandoned. So many time these little indie Games Snag on to something great then it blows up from a youtuber and they take the money and run smh

IIRC you can use the grenades for fishing if you just toss them into the water. It's much faster and yields more fish then the fishing rod
You can put your food/cooking items in the closet that's straight ahead when you walk in the front door.
