and the parrell between Ash's ex crush (the girl who died when he was 14 or 15) and Eiji. Ash couldnt protect one, so he tries so hard to project the other. Both are put into a dangerous situation because others know they're his achilles heel.
i literally watched it 2 times and almost every ep has made me shed a tear i kid you not. this show is so heart breaking and lovely at the same time i just cant!! anyone who hasn't seen it....i will point a gun at their head and forcefully make them bingewatch the whole show until they're dried up from the crying and lack of water cuz i aint giving water

Because if only he would have given that letter by himself none of that would have happened.... I forgot the exact name of that piece but it was something along the lines of last light of the dawn or something... If u wanna read the manga just read the last 2-3 chapters that's all Most of it is covered in the anime the last 2-3 chapters are stories after Ash's death and time skip
