Belgian Racing Pigeons : Pairing Up ALL Of Our Pigeons For Breeding

In this video I show off how to pair pigeons for breeding. First we grab all the hens and put them with their picked out males. We then let them sit in the nestbox with eachother for a few hours . Beware don't do that if they fight.

Early pairing ... all racers and breeders paired? What date does your season start ?.... can’t beat early bred youngster ... will they go onto darkness ? Used to like early bred youngsters as they’ll go through the body moult and still only be on 4/5th flight come the longer races and no forced moult.

we dont darken at all never have , we pair now because the rings are available at 28th december so the chicks would be about a week old if everything goes well. no other reason. Some fanciers even paired up a week before us. Dont know the exact race date off the top of my head but i'll keep you updated.
