That's cool. When I lived in Colorado, I would see an Ford F-8 all the time, going back and forth on the highway. It was chromed out and painted all black with a cool looking flatbed. It was this guy's daily driver. It was one sharp looking truck.
Nice Job on the Ford. I really liked the frame extension, and larger wheels. Only downside IMHO is I would have still painted grill chrome color. Keep up the Great Work!
Looks great, the nylint Chevy truck I’m redoing I’m having to fix small pits everywhere in the bed I had to buy another roof for it because it was to far gone, atleast you gave me inspiration on making it beautiful again
Buen trabajo estas haciendo de recontuccion de modelos antiguos y los dejas bonitos y bien hechos sigue contus buenos trabajos saludos soy antonio o de mx df bay
Great transformation project of the pick-up Ford F1 into the F8 truck . I really like it and the details are so cool . Thank you for sharing this great video my friend !👏👏👏🥇🏆👍
Awesome job, incredible transformation sir!! I love how you made use of wood, plastic, and metal to beef up the frame and scratchbuild everyrhing needed to make this into a new truck. My one and only, negative is that you didn't correct the one major flaw with this model from the beginning. You could have painted it blue 💙, but instead with back with the original red. And it was so close to being perfect. 😞 (lol) Great stuff, thanks for sharing, and keep on keeping on!!
Great build, liked the way you used bits and pieces to scratch build,I build RC s ww2 war ships and use left over wood and plastics, as I say great build Mick Thailand
That has to be the coolest transformation on youtube!! You gave me some great ideas. I especially like how you made the rear leaf springs. Where did the wheels and tires come from?
Looks like a 1948 F series. Nice job. Questions: My 1948 C8 didn't have those things you put on each side of the rear axle. What are they supposed to be? The F8 and C8 had juice brakes, and air brake cans mount on the rear, anyway, and you didn't add an air tank, so they can't be for air brakes ... Also, the F1/C1 to F8 and C8 had a 16 gallon fuel tank behind the seat. (Yes. The larger trucks didn't pass many service/gas stations. Depending on load and incline, I got as little as 0.9 mpg with mine. I did add a single 70 gallon saddle tank.) They had no door uphostery, either.
Nice conversion. My only criticism, is that prior to 1986, Ford mounted the air brake, chambers behind the rear axel, on single axel trucks. Otherwise a really nice job

I liked that better than a regular restoration. had a bit more interest.
Probably the best modification of a truck model I've ever seen. Absolutely superb!
That's cool.

Excellent transformation.. 👍👍
Incredible transformation! The truck was perfect, it doesn't even look like it was once a Ford F-1 Pick-Up! 👏👏👏👏

Nice Job on the Ford. I really liked the frame extension, and larger wheels. Only downside IMHO is I would have still painted grill chrome color. Keep up the Great Work!
I would have to agree, the front grill and bumper would have been nice to see as a chrome, but still an amazing amount of work! It looks great!
Looks like it came out of the box that way.

Top demais parabéns
Fred Sanford isn't going to be too happy when he finds out what you did with his pickup
His truck was a 51, this is a 48
Wowww
I think the F-8s had wider fenders and the F-6 had just the larger wheel opening. I might be wrong on that. Still a great conversion.
Essas rodas... lembrei do ELKAZUM que eu tive. 👏👏👏👏
cool!
K trabajo tan perfecto saludos
Very nice video but I would of loved to see a bed on the truck
відмінна робота, вітаю 👏👏👏
❤️❤️❤️👏
Now that was a great build, wish people would restore the real ones instead of making hotrod pickup trucks out of them
Yes... That was good.
Essas rodas Dayton são lindas demais!

from 1:16 Highway 61 diecast trucks
👍
Looks like a 1948 F series.

Gostei muito desta transformação gostaria de ter um contato seu para ver quanto fica para fazer um transformação da pick-up 1953 ford F100 EM UM F600
I like it buy could you do one lifted an put a flatbed on it. Hell ya
Beautifull, but the grille black or red and the headlights silver.
👍👍👍
Dope
😮👍🏁
🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
Now you should turn it into a f8 rv
Excuse me, the wheels, how do you do them? Or where do you get them?
Why was the modification needed for the under carriage?? Just curious.
Lo bonito es lo genuino el sujeto tiene creatividad pero lo q me gusta del juguete hes q hes original
Very nice idea and construction. Where did you source the wheels from?
Their size tells me another 1/18 diecast?
Thinking the wood is a dumb material to use but it’s probably stronger than the cheap plastic
muito bom mesmo teve muito trabalho envolvido 👏👍🇪🇦🇧🇷
