I never saw a blue roofed Burger King before. And the inside of this one has a 50's retro style on the inside. Man! That is awesome.

I don't recall the b&w checker pattern. I remember bright colors, blue roof.

Old style burger king looks so much better than a boring shoebox one that lacks so much taste.
This was done to one near my residence. The Burger King looks like a shoe box,with a huge sign that makes the building extremely small!!
@@dimitriberozny3729 if only they would stick to that retro design ,the color and the look that was different than the shoebox that has nothing to it.everything looks too bland and boring and even too much the same no one is different no more.guess they enjoy boring and saving money .I like saving money too ,but I like the buildings that are different that gives them character of being who they are.
So clean too but I would expect that from Latrobe. Love he block glass windows next to the tables. So 80s! Those rings definitely look solid!
How I wish that all of the BK's looked like this. They are building a new BK near me and of course it's a shoe box.

There were quite a few Hungry Jacks in Australia with this retro American diner style interior. They have slowly succumbed to renovations in recent years.

For months and months now--since I discovered it--I've been meaning to make a visit like this to a Subway that still has some of the older appearance to it including the yellow-ish interior. Definitely just is something aesthetic to these older places, compared to what's seen in newer shoebox-like buildings.
I agree. Most new places nowadays are boring, lack aesthetics, and lack character.

We had one nearby us that was torn down and replaced it with one of their concept two drive thru lanes and a little dining room. I miss the other one.

You brought up Arby’s there’s actually one still with a cowboy hat sign around Pittsburghish in johnstown pa on scalp ave, and if your in Washington PA in my city we have a blue roof burgerking still on us route 18.
I saw that Arby's this weekend!
They still have one like this in Painted post New York. Right next to an abandoned Ames too! I made a stop there on a road trip last year.

Awesome to see a Burger King with a blue roof that's actually still open. Ours here in Salem, Ohio is already in shoebox form. It's still open and is still going strong to this day. Ours is always busy. In fact, they just put up digital screen menu boards in the drive-thru. I eat all my burgers plain too with just cheese. 🍔🍟 I've been eating all mine plain with just cheese since 1996.
There is still a blue roof in piqua Ohio.

If you know old Subway restaurants, you would be surprised to know that when mine remodelled, I was able to snag some of the old art they had in the store.
Wow! What an aesthetically pleasing Burger King! You don’t see these anymore. I know there’s an 90s Taco Bell that is still open in Bloomsburg, PA. You should check it out asap before it gets remodeled.
grew up in aus, and I remember all the older hungry jacks locations all had diner-style interiors similar to this, never knew that bk had something similar tho

I remember the BK I Johnstown outside of the Galleria Mall, it used to have neon lights inside, scads of 45s (Yes the records) on the walla, and hanging from the ceiling, and them playing 50s and 60s music. It's been a hit minute since I've been to that BK since. Not sure if it still is like that or not. Just drove past here myself the other day. Went to johnstown for the Hills snack truck. 😀
The BK at the Johnstown Galleria has sadly been updated to a shoebox.

There's one not too far away from where I live that still hasn't been remodeled or closed.
The burger king I grew up with Had a blue roof And That Is teal green seating. And the hole interior was made of cedar. But also had outdoor seating. and i've never seen another burger king like it since then.

BK in Florida went ⬇️ around 2018. No more. Food is 60% the size. Flavor is awful. No service.

My favourite Burger King I frequently visit is the one at the Riverside Retail Park in Coleraine (Northern Ireland) and I always order a bacon double cheeseburger xl meal there, great stuff! 🙂👍

I was just down this way a couple weekends ago, but we ate at Joio's in Latrobe instead. I thought it was the same as the one in Greensburg, but maybe not quite--close. Very interesting and dated aesthetic in that place.

You should do a video checking out Hamburger Station in Akron. It looks super old inside, they have retro arcade games and overall it just feels like you stepped back into the 20th century. It's just south of Akron on Manchester road. Prices are super cheap and food is amazing.

Awesome! That is probably the coolest Burger King I have ever seen! My local one is old and blue roof but they updated it inside! I enjoyed this! This actually reminded me of the old weird o goes to restaurant videos you did. It would have been cool if you did this with the sony handcam but I think that would be too obvious and you don't want to get in trouble.I hope you can do more old fast food/ dine in restaurant videos! That would be Great!

I have been going to this Burger King location since was a kid and that room was indeed a playspace I had so many memories climbing on the obstacles and so many of my friends had birthday parties in there. And this is the only blue roof bk I ever been to.
You gotta check out the Burger King in Cross Keys, PA near New Oxford, north of Hanover. It's still open. I've never seen anything like it.

What a beautiful Burger King. The Dairy Queen in Lancaster PA had black and white checkered floors. When I went to see the Barbie movie last summer, I noticed it got renovated. Is this near Sesame Place? Linglestown has a Primanti Brothers but it's opening next year, I don't know why though.
This is located in front of the Latrobe Walmart.

None of ours ever had spatulas. The whole spatula idea is weird because BK doesn't have a grill.
Is this really considered retro if this was the standard aesthetic for most Burger King restaurants until like 2016
This wasn't the standard for BKs. Some had this appearance but many did not.
I don't recall ever seeing any bugar kings like that.the burgers at the one here are thin and horribly dry🙁
This is probably a corporate store or a Sodexo store. Sodexo had the best real estate VS corporate or other operators.
That place is clean i mean clean clean even the bathroom is too they really take good care of that one it is kinda modernized because of the order screens and check outs cash register and it aint like our old one here dirty and old but i dont go to that one i go to the new one we have..

Not often anymore. They're practically extinct in the Pittsburgh area. There's one near Homestead but it's nothing special.
