Winning 29 straight and then getting left out of the playoff is still wild

The difference in the game between UGA and Alabama in the SECCG was the botched handoff that gave Alabama the ball inside the 20 and led to a field goal. Those 3 points were the victory margin.

Georgia also missed a very makable FG in that game.

@@jdtheguitartistThat catch was amazing. How he managed to get the ground under the ball was amazing. I have no idea how he managed that. More teams should implement catches using the earth as their hands.

Small mistakes in important games will cost you every time.

No, they lost to the refs....they used to lose to Bama, but last year was the refs.

Schumann did not have the right plan for Bama, Beck did not have a great game, the front 7 did not control the LOS, and mistakes were made all around. The two teams were evenly matched and the team that made the fewest mistakes won. Play ten times and it’s 5-5 or 6-4.

I agree the double spy plan by Schu failed, but it's the first one I can think of that did, all his game plans and adjustments have been perfect up to that point, I think he out thought himself and will correct it this year vs Milroe, tho I don't claim injuries.. our first drive we went down and scored no problem, then our 1st rnd tackle went out, our 2 biggest weapons couldn't get separation off the line and the game plan changed offensively after that

@@joshskelton3908they did the same thing to Burrow in 2019 and Bryce in 2021 and it failed miserably every time. Milroe showed over & over he cant handle pressure but Schu & co didnt apply it

@@cameronmerrill_ they'd never deployed the 2 man spy scheme before the '23 SECCG..

I keep hearing people say possibly 17 games.. but it won't be 17 even with the SECCG and all 3 playoff games, it'd be 16 at the most unless I'm just wrong lol

You could play and lose the sec championship to get a 5-12 seed giving you 4 playoff games to play

i do NOT look back at 2023 fondly. Sankey screwed us by removing Oklahoma from our schedule. he made us have a horrifically weak sched which cpst us a playoff berth

Graham here… You make a great point about the OU game that dramatically changed everything for UGA. Assuming they win that game, it cancels out any transitive property crap for Texas. UGA would have beaten OU who had a win over Texas. We’d have seen a very different CFP

@@dawgscentral AMEN! and I dont see why it couldnt have been played. Did UGA really care about losing the return game? I doubt it. The cancellation stinks of corruption to me
