Got them all (including 2 Kraton EXB 8s) My personal experience is that the XRT is bulletproof as far as Rc can be stock out of the box. Also it handles ALLLLLLOT better than the Xmaxx. And it’s much easier to work on the XRT than the Xmaxx. The only thing why I’m keeping the Xmaxx is that I just love the looks and it can handle crazy high jumps. The Sledge is like an XRT that lost allot of weight with rockets on it. It’s more nimble nd backflips is second nature. The XRT is impossible to backflip (with stocktires) I cannot choose between them… every one of them has its own thing that make them great. But if this is your first Rc… then I would go for the Sledge (or maybe even smaller like and Maxx V2, I have that one also nd is also a very great Rc to begin with)
The sledge for me has no limits so far and the front tire ballooning is strange because I’ve been full speed and all four tires balloon the same amount and they don’t even balloon that much

My Engine is currently being replaced, couldn’t keep it cool. Traxxas warranty and support is pretty bad when it comes to Nitro. Slayer or TMaxx is nice also, only other Nitro I like is the Losi Eight T
hello, I have a TRAXXAS sledge for exactly a week and I have a problem with the fact that when driving on the rear wheels, the car makes an unpleasant whistle, please help, I don't know what to do with it
Mines doin exactly same thing! Won’t do it when held off ground but weight on rear tires makes it squeal. Ever figure out what it was? Its really annoying me 😁👊🏻
I would check the rear differential fluid level if you haven’t already from when you purchased it. Traxxas doesn’t fill them up from factory. Also could be ring/pinion going out. I had a similar issue before ring/pinion failed. Then I went to spiral cut gears.

Got the Sledge jumping near 15’ off a jump doing a backflip. Nothing broken, chassis not bent, running strong. Thanks for watching

How are the Sledgehammer tires on the Sledge? Was thinking of using badlands instead.
Sledgehammers a great, we’ve wanted to try Badlands because they grip a lot more. Sledgehammers tend to come unglued a lot. But so far so good
