I lost my job of 17 years, back in December of 2022. One of my lowest points. This song explains how I was feeling back then. Now I am working my dream job Have faith, you will find an even better job. I was not okay but now I'm alright.

Been sick for 12 years now with an incurable illness.
As a result my mental health has gone to ****. I see and hear things that aren't real, I'm depressed to the point I can't function 6 days a week. I spend the majority of my time fighting suicidal urges. It's exhausting. All I want is relief.
But songs such as these hit hard if you're going through some ****.
You don't realize how strong you are, until being strong is the only choice you have.

I absolutely love this song. The first time I heard it I felt like he was looking into my soul and telling my story. You said it perfectly, it's relatable. Please don't apologize for getting emotional. I still get emotional when I hear it.

I lost my oldest daughter recently. Every single word in this song resonates with me. Im not hopeful now, but hopefully, someday, I'll be hopeful. And we are all gonna be alright ☺️

This drop on the same day my 6 year old Australian shepherd went to the vet because he stopped eating and I got the worse news that he maybe has a week to live . His liver and kidneys are shutting down . I put him down in the morning. I haven't cried like this in years

Song hits so hard for me. Been cancer free for 3 years, got diagnosed with myasthenia Gravis in 2021 as well, but recently diagnosed with Trigeminal neuralgia. It’s like one thing after another. I have a family to fight and stay strong for, but inside my body wants to give up.

This song actually saved my life,my nephew took his only life barley 17yrs old,my 2 brothers died just a week apart,my longtime friend and coach passed away,am my son has just been diagnosed with a life changing medical condition..to says I'm struggling and trying to keep it together is an understatment..I sat in the car and broke down after hearing this song yesterday.

Going through many medical issues and knowing my time here is quickly coming to a close, I'm trying to "HANGING ON FOR DEAR LIFE" because of my 2 children and 6 grandchildren, they are my HEART AND SOUL ❤. I have a few good days then boom I'm thrown into the dirt fighting, kicking and screaming. This song has been a GOD SEND, it tells me that "IM NOT OKAY, BUT IT'S ALL GOING TO BE ALRIGHT". I put the song and lyrics on my Facebook for my family and friends and they get it, they now understand that I've been putting a smile on my face just trying to get by. I can relate to this song to I have a lot of health issues where I have to have a feeding tube I can't walk very far I'm what they call ambulatory wheelchair user where I can walk at certain points but on bad days I cannot and there are things that I want to do like swimming but I can't cuz of my feeding tube and there are places that I used to go to with my mom and I can't even do that anymore 😭 so it makes me depressed because there are things I used to do that I cannot do now
