This is a favorite recipe of mine. These are great when on the run. Can eat them cold and they are still tasty. I put them in foiled muffin wrappers. Works great! To add flavor- I’ve added chopped chipotles (from a can), chopped jalapeños, some Kalamata olives, etc.
Also, for anyone in a dorm room: I cook it in 'grub in a mug' method. I put the equivalent of one muffin in a mug and cook in the microwave for 4 ish minutes. I only prepare half the amount (ie 1 lb of turkey instead of 2) and save it in the refrigerator covered in plastic wrap for when I want to cook it up (though I suggest not leaving it for too long!). This recipe works great since it only uses the one bowl :)
this really really worked for me many many years ago and i keep searching for something like this, its easy and can be made in bulk, and really packs nutrition and protein
i made these earlier today! they are amazing! the only thing is i didnt cook it for the whole 40 minutes cause i read some people’s muffins came out dry...so i only did 30 mins and they were perfect! just make sure the turkey is cooked all the way through!
Thank you so much for making this video ! I'm a full time student on the go and I always looking for healthy ideas to make on my food prep for the week. I bought some ground turkey on sale and now I know what i'm going to make for next week. I was wondering if it would be okay to use a little olive oil instead of egg whites ? For some reason eggs/whites in meatloaf make me nauseous ever since I was little. Thank You :D
I made your meatloaf yesterday, and it was excellent ...I was diagnosed with diabetes, and thought this was going to affect my blood sugar, it has not... There's a couple of things I did different .... I didn't have the chipotle seasoning ... I figured it was something spicey ... so I used some cajun seasoning, instead ... I chopped up some green onions, the white part and about 2" of the green off of one bunch.... chef seasoning, horseradish mustard on top, and fresh chopped basil, inside.
I was looking for ground turkey recipes then I remembered many years ago I made this recipe but I couldn’t remember the name. Well it turns out I had posted pictures of this exact recipe 10 years ago on my Instagram lol I’m actually making them right now :-) So yummy
40 minutes is way too long. Dry them out. use a probe thermometer on your largest one and set the alarm to 160 degrees. once it hits 160 pull em out and set up for 15 minutes. Can't even tell that they're turkey meatballs. so moist. I just put broccoli, parmesan cheese, itailian herbs, and egg.
