i had this played at my daughters funeral she was a day off four months n when i sung this song to her she smiled for the first time so it was special then once she died i took the song in a completely different way how it felt when i lost her that we was meant to be but the timing was wrong and that she was the 1% i needed 😢
I met this person in high school. We dated almost 2 years. I got scared. I didn't know how to be vulnerable. I didn't know who I was, let alone how to love myself. I broke it off to learn who I was, but I was so lost. I used other people to fill my void, which hurt him pretty badly. Now its 5 years later and I have a stable relationship with myself. I had my one percent but he cheated and got another girl pregnant. He might of made me cry so many times but it was so perfect wish he would of thought the same
I have such a severe love and hate with this song. It's beautiful and the most painful song I've ever heard. I want to send it to my ex every time. But that would make our friendship awkward, it's almost easier to just keep pretending I'm not totally in love with him still while he continues to explore and see what all is out there (he has very limited dating experience having married his first serious girlfriend).
I try to talk to other guys but it never goes anywhere. They can either see I'm not really into it or I cut it off because I don't wanna hurt anybody when I can't get over him.
