omg; no way. NEw channel to binge watch....This is how I grew up, standing around my d ad, uncles, and my Papa, either holding lights, grabbing tools, or turning bolts. I would trade anything to go back to those days...I remember asking my Papa for years to teach me how to weld. ONe day, it happened.
I don't know how l found this channel but im hooked. When i have children, I want to do projects like this. Awesome video!!!

I have no info on welding the sprockets on the axle, but it would be much easier if the axle had a keyway to avoid welding. but it doesn't seem like is made with the end user in mind!

The warp in the axle will most likely have been the weld heat. Even the US govt would not pass that axle for use and they pass toxic chemicals in food so that says alot for the lack of quality in that axle. Weight will be an issue if you took others advice of using a heavier engine for more power and better distribution. What you have built is a super fun bit of kit for what it is and you will have most certainly hit the maximum weight for keeping it fun and safe with a 9 to 12 year old child (weight and height dependant.)
