About This Video:
External Service Procurement is one of the basic functionalities of every SAP system - doesn't matter whether it is R3, ECC or S/4HANA. This process has been always there, as it is vital to be able to procure external services for our company. These can be single services, or they can be based on contracts. SAP upgrade to S/4HANA brings also new functionalities/new approach in External Service Procurement. In this video, you will understand what is the new approach - Lean Service Procurement and what are the main differences between it and Classic External Services. The biggest difference is of course the process, but also the object - in Classic approach we use Service Master, in lean - Material Numbers, with Material type SERV. The service confirmation in the system is now supported by new, simplified Fiori Application - Service Entry Sheet, which does not work for the classic approach. How to do refurbishment in Fiori if before 2027

There is no Fiori app for Refurbishment right now. You just do it via Web GUI, it applies to both external and internal refurbishment. But yeah they have something new on their Roadmap, it will come somewhere around 2027 as u mentioned. Cheers 🤟
