Is there an app for SAP where you can just see a calendar and have below that open time frames to view scheduling maintenance clearly? This is good, but it would be nice if there was an entire dedicated interface and nice UI for a supervisor to schedule using that
Hey bro. Nah, unfortunately not. The thing you ask for is covered in an old tool from SAP called MRS. Right now RSH does not support leave time and such. It only considers the capacity from the Work Center settings. Maybe it will come in the future, only SAP knows 😅 Cheers, Dan
Hi Russell, thanks a lot! Currently it's impossible. RSH is not a 'new MRS', its kinda limited solution. I am also looking forward to seeing this possibility there. Cheers man
Hey man, thanks for the feedback 🔥 Sure, there will be SAP Service and Asset Manager video, it’s planned for May. I think it’s worth waiting cuz I will cover: ✅ system architecture ✅ configuration example … and more Cheers 👋🏻
@SAP dude, one of the technician is not available so utilization of work center will be less where in sap we will maintain this information to get work center utilization report.
Hi, What you need is not covered by RSH, it’s not so complex solution like MRS. You can just reduce the availability/capacity of the work center for these days when the guy is off. However, nobody does it this way in PM, it’s not PP where we need such details. So if u want to change it, go to the IR02 tcode, enter your work center, then capacity and there times and shifts or something like this, and you define it there. You can find this thing in RSH itself as well. Cheers, Dan
Hey Mayank, yes you can! However, in the newest version of RSH you are able to assign an Operation to multiple people. There is also a thing called People Gantt. For all these things you need Personnel numbers along with Business Partners. I will upload a video about this update in April 😎
@@sap_dude Thanks for your reply I am actually working on this for one of my client and I am actually preparing a list of pre requisites and back end configurations which will be required cluld you help me on that or if you have any reference material
@@MayankVerma-lq5xz You got this stuff at SAP help website. First of all check, what version of S4 your Client has (I past the link at the end of this comment). Then make sure you select the help content for the correct version. The prerequisites will be there, part of configuration too. RSH consists of specific Fiori Apps - their config you will find in Fiori Apps Library, which ODATA has to be activated and stuff. Again - make sure you select the right backend version of your Client. If I were you, I would also check SAP Roadmap to see what is planned for RSH in the next months/years. This way you will be prepared to answer questions/requests, which cannot be covered by the current version of RSH. help.sap.com/docs/SAP_S4HANA_ON-PREMISE/e72f747389b340229f7fa343975bfa57/f00056571d550222e10000000a44147b.html?locale=en-US

amazing and so easy...thanks for sharing

Hi David,
Nope, currently RSH is built like this, and I guess they will tune up the Gantt Chart further.
Better than nothing, right? :D
Cheers man
@sap_dude ah okay good to know, thank you!
No worries!
Great video, please share about SAP APM as well, thanks!
Thanks man! APM will come in the future. Make sure u saw the SSAM video too, cheers mate 🫡
Great stuffs! Would I be able to sync leave and absent from HR master as well?

Good stuff. I'm interested in finding out if it is still possible to consider the Qualifications a Technician may have when dispatching work to them?

Is HR Mini Master Required to effectively use RSH? Like suppose I am not having personnel numbers in the system can I Still use this solution?

Separate license, ain’t sure how is it with this Rise with SAP, probably it’s included in the ‘package’, but I assume u don’t realize it via this one
It's like capacity leveling in pp
It is, but it ain’t only this:) there will be a new video with the updated version (available from S/4HANA 2023).
Thanks Rajkumar!
