    About This Video:
    In this video I will explain you the basics of the new tool from SAP, which you can leverage in your company for Work Scheduling purposes. It is called RSH - Resource Scheduling Tool, which is available from SAP S/4HANA. It is a set of Fiori Applications, which can be available for your Maintenance Planners to Schedule the work, monitor capacity/utilization of Technicians, monitor planned work, re-schedule, and assign (dispatch) it to specific technicians (Personnel numbers).Of course there are certain prerequisites, which have to be meet, one of them is the fact, that you need a separate license for this product.
    My video covers end-to-end process, from Work Order definition (Planning) to Scheduling. Of course it doesn’t make sense to go to execution and post-execution phase. The goal is, that you get better understanding what SAP RSH is, what is it capable of and how you can use it in your company or implement it in your Client’s System.
    Fiori Applications, which you will find in this video:
    Display Maintenance Orders,
    Resource Scheduling for Maintenance Planners,
    Work Center Utilization,
    Maintenance Scheduling Board

    Good stuff. I'm interested in finding out if it is still possible to consider the Qualifications a Technician may have when dispatching work to them?

      Hi Russell, thanks a lot!
      Currently it's impossible. RSH is not a 'new MRS', its kinda limited solution.
      I am also looking forward to seeing this possibility there. Cheers man

    @SAP dude, one of the technician is not available so utilization of work center will be less where in sap we will maintain this information to get work center utilization report.

      Hi,
      What you need is not covered by RSH, it’s not so complex solution like MRS.
      You can just reduce the availability/capacity of the work center for these days when the guy is off. However, nobody does it this way in PM, it’s not PP where we need such details.
      So if u want to change it, go to the IR02 tcode, enter your work center, then capacity and there times and shifts or something like this, and you define it there. You can find this thing in RSH itself as well.
      Cheers,
      Dan

    Great stuffs! Would I be able to sync leave and absent from HR master as well?

      Hey bro.
      Nah, unfortunately not. The thing you ask for is covered in an old tool from SAP called MRS.
      Right now RSH does not support leave time and such. It only considers the capacity from the Work Center settings.
      Maybe it will come in the future, only SAP knows 😅
      Cheers,
      Dan

      I think it’s worth waiting cuz I will cover:
      ✅ system architecture
      ✅ configuration example
      … and more
      Cheers 👋🏻

    Is HR Mini Master Required to effectively use RSH? Like suppose I am not having personnel numbers in the system can I Still use this solution?

    • @sap_dude
      @sap_dude  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey Mayank, yes you can!
      However, in the newest version of RSH you are able to assign an Operation to multiple people. There is also a thing called People Gantt. For all these things you need Personnel numbers along with Business Partners.
      I will upload a video about this update in April 😎

      @@sap_dude Thanks for your reply I am actually working on this for one of my client and I am actually preparing a list of pre requisites and back end configurations which will be required cluld you help me on that or if you have any reference material

    • @sap_dude
      @sap_dude  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@MayankVerma-lq5xz You got this stuff at SAP help website. First of all check, what version of S4 your Client has (I past the link at the end of this comment).
      Then make sure you select the help content for the correct version.
      The prerequisites will be there, part of configuration too.
      RSH consists of specific Fiori Apps - their config you will find in Fiori Apps Library, which ODATA has to be activated and stuff.
      Again - make sure you select the right backend version of your Client.
      If I were you, I would also check SAP Roadmap to see what is planned for RSH in the next months/years.
      This way you will be prepared to answer questions/requests, which cannot be covered by the current version of RSH.

      @@sap_dude Thanks with the link I am getting fair enough idea. Just last question sorry to bother you 😅 Do we have to buy separate license for that or does it come in the sap suite considering my client will be going on latest 2024 On Premise S4 Hana

    • @sap_dude
      @sap_dude  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Separate license, ain’t sure how is it with this Rise with SAP, probably it’s included in the ‘package’, but I assume u don’t realize it via this one
