- Understanding and controlling the face and path relationship is absolutely number 1 in golf to quote from our (now) not so new ZEN Coach George.
George has been and still continues his training under the mentorship of myself by filming lessons, but is also now officially available for lessons himself: For lesson info/bookings:

Well done George, from pupil to coach in 2 years is incredible. Great lesson, the Zen Master must be very proud of you. 👍
Couldn't have put it any better myself 🙏
Thanks, Keith! It’s actually the other way round. I’m very proud of the zen master, he’s come a long way since we’ve worked together 😂. But seriously, I owe a lot to Marcus for facilitating me getting to this point!
He has the correct demeanor, just as you do Marcus! You and your crew are all on the same page and passionate about helping people be better golfers.....it comes through, believe me! Great job George!
It’s all about helping people enjoy their golf! I’ve found that the more influence golfers have over their ability to control the ball, the happier they are!
A well earned position on the Zen Team 👍 Fantastic instruction from George! I know Jonathan will be more than happy with his improvements and taking the rest of his golf journey after this lesson ⛳
Cheers, Paul. Looking forward to helping many more pupils like Jonathan!
Thanks George, things are still going in the right direction for my game.
Long may it continue that way 🙏
Nice work George! Great to see you on TV finally! 👑
Cheers, Scott. Just waiting for my invite to celebrity bake off now 🎂
Great work, George. We can clearly see that you have your own unique style while sharing and teaching the same philosophy as Marcus. 🎉
Thanks, Etienne. That’s the first time anyones ever told me I have style!
Great to see! Congrats George and will come down to see you guys in the off season with Kasper.
Looking forward to your return!
Congratulations George! Great video.
My man Mallon! Thanks buddy
Wow. Now that's a golf video! Excellent tutelage George.
Awesome George great lesson. Loved your manner. Well done.
I do have manners…. Sometimes 😂
Congratulations !! George. You came out with flying colors. The Zen master must be very happy with his pupil bringing his insight and philosophy with the zen clarity and the zen style. I was looking for a verbal fumbles which you may have edited out but looking for fumbling thoughts I found none. Thanks for enriching our Golfing journey. Look forward to seeing and learning more without being judgmental .👍👏
Thanks, Mukul. I too am on a golfing journey both in coaching and playing, so I’m sure there will be some fumbles in the future and I’ll be sure to share them with you when they happen!
I'm a brit in Thailand.. I wish I could get a lesson from one of you one day.If any of you come here for a holiday... let me know... lots of great courses here! Free accommodation and transport offered in Chiang Mai!
Thanks John, would love to visit Thailand one day 👍
Good for you George!
Great lesson George - liking your style there a great addition to the Zen team
Well done George. Came along way from your lesson. Wish you the very best of luck in teaching zen mate.
A very long way! Says all you need to know about Marcus and the rest of the team for all their support!
Congrats on the new teach g role George, great lesson 😎👍⛳
Transferring not creating, more rhythm great teaching! bravo
Well done! Outstanding results
Great lesson George I’m sure you will be getting them queuing up for your lessons congratulations on your first video coaching lesson.👍⛳️
Thanks, Ian!
Congrats bro. Great video.
Good for you buddy! Cracking first video lesson, and cracking results 🤌🏽
I have a question. I made a copy of the board you’re using. Later I saw a video where you put a stick beneath the feet to transfer the weight to the heel. Why not design a board with both features at once.
It should be a cross underneath the board with one higher than the other. Or shorter then the other one. I will experiment with the model. Greetings again from the Netherlands. Henri.
Nice work George great lesson. Very well explained.
Any chance of some mics away from the camera.
My ears nearly burst when the camera man laughs
Might be easier to just gag Craig!
It’s good to see one of George’s lessons and how he goes about it, great job 👏🏻 to you and Marcus..
Amazing as always
Well done George.
Wow, wow, wow! Looks like he Wizards apprentice done good. Jonathan came in with a functional swing, good enough for him to be a single figure player. George has transformed Jonathan into an absolute beast, who's got cat 1 written all over him. Another fab video lads, keep up the good work.
Thanks, Robin. I like to be referred to as a zen witch 🧙♀️more than wizard 😂. You’re right, Jonathan is a beast and an A* pupil!
Amazing, now if only I could do that instead of thinking so much! I'm athletic but I can't seem to put it all together.
Come and see us for an experience. I’m sure we’d be able to help declutter that busy mind…
Class George buzzing for you mate 👌🏾👌🏾
Cheers buddy. Hope you’re still activating those calves and banging bombs for fun!
I would love to see a video on how to stop a push slice I like to draw the ball but I get a push slice sometimes and it hurts my game
Noted. Watch the start of this video again and really understand that face/path relationship. Play around with it on the range. I’ll do a vid in the future about the dreaded push slice…
Very good lesson! Regards Staale, Norway
The sound and flight of the driver topped off the video nicely 👍
Jonathan is a beast. Strikes sounded like a gun going off!
Great lesson.
Agreed 💯
Coming to USA anytime soon?
Another Zen Wizard graduated. Great work.
I like to think of myself as more of a zen witch than wizard 🧙♀️ 😂
George comes across as a top bloke, will have to get a lesson if I can sort a lift 😎
A lift from where, Anthony? We might be able to offer a car service 😂
Well done George 👍
Great vid as usual. I noticed George chokes down about 3 inches on his iron, a la Brooke Henderson. It got me thinking who was it that actually originally, arbitrarily decided on our club lengths. Can George or Marcus give us their thoughts on this?
I love that Jon Daly swing. I’m sure a lot of coaches would have tried to shorten that.
Amazing videos…
Amazing! Teach me 🤩🤩
There’s a link in the description if you’d like a lesson…
I didn't know Suggs was any good at golf! :D
Not the first time I’ve been told I look like him.
@@jayjones5356 Lol, it's a compliment.
An unrelated question - it would be nice to have some former clients return and show that they had improved their skill on the golf course.
Nice to see Matt Damon getting a lesson 😕 Congrats George
If Matt Damon ever wants a lesson then he should be well aware that there’s a link in the description 🤷♂️⛳️🏌️♂️
Well, I can´t agree with all the positive comments before about George as a coach. For me, a coach or a teacher must have a decent qualification and, especially in Golf, must be a very good and experienced player himself. When I watch the Videos of George as a student, he´s nothing of that. Just hanging around at Zen Golf and copying the Ideas of Marcus (even including holding a coffee in his hand during the lesson) really isn´t enough. Charging 250 £ for a unit seems a little over the top, in my humble opinion.
Couldn't disagree more tbh. George has trained extensively for well over 2 years with me, is a competent category 1 golfer and well read in many other areas like philosophy and coaching pedagogy. I wouldn't have him coaching on the team if a) he wasn't good enough and b) well enough trained to deliver top quality lessons. Everyone is open to their opinion but I can assure the quality of the practice of all my team and that's why they are mentored for a considerable time by myself before being coaching the public.
Great video lesson but he consistently looks a bit over the top! Playable but the draw in to out not quite accomplished.
Still subscribing cuz I love your work! Thanks 🙏
