I moved to Savannah in 1991, and bought my first house in Georgetown. Three bedroom, 2 bath, garage, deck, about 1200 sq ft: $68,000. It was undeveloped then, and very nice. Over the years much construction. I live in Jacksonville now but am looking to move back…at 3x the price.
I love your content. You provide great information all the time. It looks like Georgetown neighborhoods could be a great place to live, but there are too many general dollar stores. How about Publix, Kroeger, Whole Foods, Piedmont Hospitals, and medical facilities? How is the crime rate? TIA
This was an immensely useful video. Please do all the other Savannah and area neighborhoods by car (and more drone!). I like neighborhoods with sidewalks, as it makes them look dressier, and they're better for walking. In this video, I preferred Wild Heron's traditional, but not dated look. Btw, at the beginning of these videos, it would be useful if you'd show a map of where you're bout to show us. Thanks!
if it's voluntary they can't dictate but the city has their own regulations of what's allowed. And yes I've misspelled tons of words in my life man, how many languages do you know though? Cause I know a few and can teach you if you want😉
Sir you did a nice video. Lived on the Southside of Savannah and know very well the area you are speaking about. However Savannah over all is a dump! You cannot call Savannah laid back. It is slow 🐌 its a tourist town. There are no major companies. Homeless people are on ever corner. The Savannah mall is empty. The people have no respect for the military presence there. Tybee Island tourist and not all that. Go past the Southside and you will see the real Savannah. It is very poor. There is no cohesion of people. It is very separated and you know what I mean. The weather is warmer than Atlanta. But the job market, unless you work on the Ports, or you are a professional. You will be scraping by. Rent in 2021 for a one bedroom was $785.00. 2022 and 2023 it 1285.00-1400+. Apartments have no firewall and you can hear your neighbors as if they are in the same room. I would not suggest moving to Savannah. Now if you are looking for great places to live. Move to the suburbs of Atlanta. I'm not a realtor but I can tell you where not to move. Savannah is to visit "Not to Live"
well.. you would have to personally know the homeowners of the neighborhood and their values in order to answer that question. But how could a person actuallly know that if they don't hang around with the homeowners of the neighborhood?

I suggest you don't move to Savannah
It's crazy the different pricing for HOA with the neighborhoods being so similar and offering the same amenities
I really enjoy all
Of your videos. Great information and entertaining.
Thank you very much!

Yes! I’ll be posting basically all the communities of the county eventually!
Very nice presentation. If you live in a community that makes HOA voluntary can they still dictate what you do?
Also you spelled coffee wrong 😂

Very helpful information. I enjoyed the narrated car tour through neighborhoods. Why haven't i found this before?!
well Probably because gas prices went up and some people don't want to drive around hahah, Thanks for the feedback
Please do video on Mayfair area , Isle of Hope
Gotta do video on chevis road and Ogeechee farms. Good for investment. Large yards too. Great to build a new home.
Noted!
Si encontraras casa de $200 en esta área?
Normalmente no. Pero si encuentras una casa en 200 es porque es muy pequeña, o esta en malas condiciones.
Si eu ma uit dupa o casa in zona asta Cristina.

Savannah is to visit! Not to live! I could not wait to move away from that city.
Estoy trabajando para sacar mi licencia. Sería cool conocer a alguien de la isla. Cuídate mucho brother.

Thanks for sharing your opinion and experience without being disrespectful like some other people have in other videos.
How can I find out if these towns are welcoming to black people? I do not want to move anywhere I am not welcomed.
go to Neighborhood Scout and type Savannah GA, and go to the demographics section. www.neighborhoodscout.com/ga/savannah/demographics
by the way the demographics section says 51% of people in Savannah are black or african american.
Thanks!
How do we know if we're moving in a racist neighborhood?
