and 10 months later, ssb3 is here and almost everyone except for the ios players left ssb2 for it. sad to see this happen to ssb2 and how its currently doing just because ssb3 released. the nostalgia and memories i made in ssb2 were great, now its just sad because of the release of ssb3 ruining ssb2’s player count and server count
Same thing happens to me in a server, There were many players 14/15 (Vip host) Many peoples were talking and Suddenly 7-8 people left the server and first leaved player was host adter 2 secs later 6-7 people left and nobody was talking there
If your wondering why the chat is dead… well uhhh people is starting to not care anymore about roleplaying or just hanging out chatting talking about random things wellllll since there are actually other sandbox games gore box minecraft(if you even have money) even roblox and no people are not hyped for SSB3 and making SSB2 have almost to no servers no?! Ssb2 is getting dead there are a bunch of hackers starting to be in the game the anti cheat dose not even work I now encountered almost 10 hackers in ssb2 back in 2018 ssb2 was getting popular cus of what the devs were doing… now it’s all just pay2win there’s nothing good in the game it’s getting more and more boring just like me I quit the game in 2021 over roblox cus ssb2 is just not the right game for most of us OGs even tho I had roblox downloaded before I played ssb2 but since my country banned roblox I decided why not try ssb2 cus I saw this one video that made me in love with the game and now it’s all ruined there’s clans there’s hackers there’s toxic player the game is decreasing in player count no one is interested anymore so in conclusion the reason why the servers you are joining have 0 players chatting is because ssb2 became one of the most toxic game ever known to ssb2 players
