I completely agree - I wasn't sure if this was going to work out but it did! Oh my goodness - I was so nervous! But I am so happy with the results 😁 I guess sometimes we just have to give it a go and see what happens. In this case, it turned out really good!Thank you so much for watching Liberated Lady!!!!
I think the grout looks better with the same treatment that you did with the stones. It makes it look more cohesive, it looked a little more detached and too distinctly different from the stone after the stones were done but the grout wasn’t. I just wanted to add that comment as I see a few people liked it with the grout the natural grey, so I wanted to give you a comment about why I think it looks better the way that you did it. Good job!
I love this! I have real stone backsplash in my kitchen that I want to do a white wash on. The stones are already pretty light, but give off a warmer peachy tone so I plan on just doing some of the stones. Will any white paint work for this? I love the one that you used and I will try to find it
It looks awesome

I think keeping the grout "clean" makes the fireplace look more realistic. Nice Job.

It really does look nice and not at all unnatural.
Would chalk paint be considered same as a lime-wash?
No
Beautiful!!! Is that real stone or simulated stone?
It is real stone
Did u paint the mantle with the same paint?
Can you use any kind of white paint.
You can! Just thin it out with water
yes
Was the rag dry?
I was wondering the same myself
