@Cristo Alba The first thing is your fault. The game was designed for characters to have similar combo structures at lower levels, but once you start digging a little deeper into the character they all do unique stuff (even the clones of Goku and Vegeta).
The second thing is a very fair criticism but it's not unique to Dragon Ball FighterZ. It started with the Marvel vs Capcom series and has since become a part of high level play in any VS or VS-like game (Marvel vs Capcom, Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid, Dragon Ball FighterZ, etc.). It's just a part of the genre and is something you'll have to get used to.
Also I hope this didn't come across as me judging you, because I'm on the same skill level as you lol. I'm also the guy doing the same combos with every character and getting 1 shot by opponents too
