Why NAXOS is a MUST visit Island in Greece | Travel Vlog

Naxos is not talked about as much as Paros, Milos or Santorini but we think it is a great island for an all round holiday in Greece !
It has pretty streets, beautiful white buildings, mountain towns made of marble and stunning sandy beaches.
We found some great local food, had a blast travelling around the island on a beach buggy and discovered the bright pink salt lakes (they do look better from the sky with the drone !)

To Elliniko is one our favourite restaurants that we've been going to for many years. Naxos is in our opinion the best of the Greek Islands.

So happy you liked it… we stayed at Ampelos Casart… it’s a little out of the main center, but newly built, stunning rooms with balconies and a rooftop pool. Great coffee place close by too

How was it renting that vehicle?

It was fun and easy @aprilashman5656. We hired the buggy from Falcon Moto for €120 for the day. We talked to them the day before to reserve it, but they had plenty if you just turn up on the day. We just needed our Australian Licence. It was not difficult to drive - they show you how to use it first. We would recommend downloading google maps to use offline plus take the hard copy map Falcon Moto gives you- they will also recommend places to see and how to easily get there. We would recommend wearing sunglasses (to protect your eyes from dust or insects) and sunscreen :)

@@loveduplifestylers Btw. In April '18 a small car was €20 in June '20 a Van was €50. For a 50cc scooter we pay €10 since 2010 at a rental we are friends with. Buggys are funny but we don't take them anymore, because they are usually incredible loud. At about 2008 they took €15 for a buggy.
