My wife spent her early teens wondering around Keilder forest in the middle of the night. In any normal society that would have been frowned upon however there were Audi's out there!

Yeah. Brings back good memories when rallying was at its best and followed the RAC rally round Britain. Used to get in and watch rally report and that music evokes good memories.
The song is Jewelled by Propaganda - it is an alternative version of their song "Duel" which has much softer lyrics (but no Opel Manta blattering it's glorious soundtrack through the forests!)
Glory days, my first experience, sleeping in a layby and waking a foot deep in snow waiting to get into lightwater valley at first light, f'ing freezing. well worth the wait though.
how many rally drivers from today's era can you mention??? from the 80's/90's you had Tony Pond, Jimmy McCrae, Malcom Wilson, Arri Vatnen, Timmo Solenen, Penti Arricola, Louise Atkien-Walker, Russell Brooks to name but a few

Lombard RAC Rally? What? Group B? What's Group B? they said when I finally remembered. The Golden Age of rallying, if you ask me. I was at this one. Took me right back to Sutton Park, 7 years old. Oh, how much did I want one of the road-going 205 T16s back then. Still do, if I'm honest. Fantastic.
