      @@GorillaWithACellphone Killing non-combatants is always a war crime, plus it's pretty dark to say that women, children, wounded and old people deserved to die. That's like saying the people who died in 9/11 deserved it because their country helped in destabilising the middle east. Between 129.000 and 226.000 people died because of these bombings. That's around 50 9/11s.

    The number of islands depends on how you define an island. Is a boulder sticking out of the water an island? Is a sandbar? Is a spoil? (a spoil is an artificial island that happens when you dredge a channel for boats and you make a pile of the stuff you dredge up). What about man made structures that are built in the water? I live in Florida and near the harbor and how many islands are in the harbor depends on time of day and time of year and changes every time a tropical storm comes through. Also in recent years oysters have started to be built up so much in some parts of the harbor (a good thing) that you walk on them at low tide. They are living organisms that are attached to underwater substrate so are they islands. some years ago a company began dumping used cinderblocks into the harbor but since they have the benefit of forming an artificial reef the state decided not to fine the company for doing so. is that pile of cinderblocks which stick out of the water an island?

    • @napinkpa

    • @mysterydragon8559
      @mysterydragon8559 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@napinkpa well that makes even less sense. Japan has been fighting Taiwan, china, Korea and Russia for literally a dozen islands while it doesn't even care about the thousands it hasn't even officially recognised.
      Btw it's actually plausible that they didn't know they were there-less than 5% of all oceans have been probed. Like we don't know much of anything in the oceans. Most of the things we do know are historically utilised routes like those used for hundreds of years. So it could very likely be the case that boats simply never went near the islands enough to check up on them.

      @zionistnaziirl Takeshima, or Dokdo, Liancourt Rocks, is proper Korean territory. It had belonged to Korea since 12c, and it only changed when Empire of Japan tried taking over Korea. (So there is a LOT of evidences of Dokdo as Korean.) Back then, of course, Dokdo was Japanese territory as all Korean land was.
      And, you know, Japan lost the war, and with *SCAPIN 677*((3. For the purpose of this directive, Japan is defined to include the four main islands of Japan (Hokkaido, Honshu, Kyushu and Shikoku) and the approximately 1,000 smaller adjacent islands, including the Tsushima Islands and the Ryukyu Islands north of 30° North Latitude (excluding Kuchinoshima Island); and excluding (a) Utsuryo (Ullung) Island, *Liancourt* *Rocks* *(Take Island)* and Quelpart (Saishu or Cheju) Island, (b) the Ryukyu (Nansei) Islands south of 30° North Latitude (including Kuchinoshima Island), the Izu, Nanpo, Bonin (Ogasawara) and Volcano (Kazan or Iwo) Island Groups, and all the other outlying Pacific Islands {including the Daito (Ohigashi or Oagari) Island Group, and Parece Vela (Okinotori), Marcus (Minami-tori) and Ganges (Nakano-tori) Islands}, and (c) the Kurile (Chishima) Islands, the Habomai (Hapomaze) Island Group (including Suisho, Yuri, Akiyuri, Shibotsu and Taraku Islands) and Shikotan Island.)
      * made Dokdo as Korean land again.* Japanese government denies this(honestly I think this indicates the government denies they lost the war), trying to make Dokdo as a disputed territory. But Dokdo is certainly Korean land now, with dozens of people living there. We have no reason to make it called a disputed territory.(Though some politicians might think different)
      It's absurd for this youtuber to include our proper land to Japan though😢
