- Saturday 25th May 2019 I attended my first Recon G6 event in Derbyshire UK. It was a fantastic day with a huge amount of impressive rigs on show. The location is stunning and the organisers did an amazing job. Was such a great atmosphere with lots of friendly people all there to have fun and enjoy this amazing hobby together.

Great trucks and crawling it was fun to of been there to just hope I was better at crawling but it was my first G6 my truck was the HPI venture in the video and hope I did not get in the way to much and keep up the great work crawling
Everyone was a first timeer at some point. I'd love to attend an event just to see how my rig and driving stacks up. I've ran with comp rigs and was right there with them for the most , they concurred obstacles a little better but mine was the trx4 sport rtr bone stock with redcats supper swampers and their was $1200. Rigs.
Sweet video man, looks like a cracking event and the course looked mega challenging in places. You all got through it though 👍🏻 defo coming along next year man 😊

My Mail Dude dropped off a WLtoys Toymota this morning an I sprayed it in TRD livery, lowsy mofo decals were so old they pulled the backing off so I couldn't use em, but the little thing climbs an crawls better than I expected and went so long it wore Me out.
Great show, this stuff is so good, just got My Grasshopper in the mail today from de UK. Gonner make up for all those years being a slave an have some RC fun before My grave Dude!

UK modelers really do set the bar when it comes to details, must be the weather keeping the attentions on the modeling.
What is the 6x6 orange cabover at 3:14? That rig looks awesome. IDK if we can get those in the US
I should have stocked up on popcorn and a gone large with the Cola! Nice to see that there's not one superior rig. Each one made some sections look easy compared to the others. When's one of the gang going to build an eight wheeler like the recovery truck?
It's a long video but I wanted to capture the whole day. I did have 3 hours of footage to go through lol. Sections I struggled the others didn't and vice versa we all worked well though. You could always do a 6 wheel wraith as you have 2 now.
@@MattTeakle Always difficult when you have that much footage. Not sure if a 8 wheeler Wraith would work as one had TRX-4 Sport axles!

Yes of course. Unfortunately this years event was cancelled but fingers crossed will be back on next year.

I hate watching videos like thise because whoever's filming is watching the rc's more than filming it pisses me and other off
Don't watch it then simple! Not always easy to film whilst driving your RC.
