    I tried to show the idea of how to design this type of wallpaper so, please don't expect the same result as the thumbnail because every time you can produce a different result using the same tools.

    You should make a video of the ending to make the same effect as the one in the cover of the video

    Thank you so much for your video! I have learned a lot! One thing did not work for me. On 2:12 minute you write Ctrl+0 ... I did not work in my case ... My solution was to duplicate the layer with lines and just put the two layers next to each other but I know it is not professional :) Do you have any other idea how to make wider the layer with lines with having the same pattern? Thank you in advance. And once again: very helpful video! Thank you for that!

    How to make this two lightning points which are seen on the miniature on the left bottom corner and right middle?

    • @PSDesign
      @PSDesign  5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      All you need to do is create an ellipse and apply a radial gradient to it. Set your desired color in the center and any other color on the edge of the ellipse, you can also use the same color and after that set the opacity of edge of the ellipse to 0% ( by "Edge of the Ellipse I meant, the opacity of the gradient point which controls the opacity of the outer edge of the ellipse). Then, rotate or place the ellipse on your desired place. I hope this helps your problem. If the intensity of the effect is not enough then, make a copy of the ellipse and paste in place (Shift+Ctrl+V) or (Shift+Cmd+V on mac) then, set their blend mode to "Screen". If the object goes out of your main wallpaper or you can say your artboard then, create a rectangle in the same size as the artboard, place it on the top of everything and then, select all, then, right click and select "Make clipping mask". This should solve your problem.

    how can this be done but without the fine mesh being there, can it be done in this , or in some other application?? No lines, just a simple transparent gradient of color?

    • @PSDesign
      @PSDesign  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, can be done in Adobe Illustrator. For that you have to search for "multiple gradient illustrator". This might help.

    Whenever I try to move the anchor points like at 3:04, the lines don't move completely with it, growing in size so it makes a shape of the solid color, instead of the anticipated effect of small lines that curve. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    • @PSDesign
      @PSDesign  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Work using the Direct Selection Tool . First, make sure you deselect any selected object and then, select one anchor point using the Direct selection tool and then, try to make the curve. If this doesn't solve the problem then, take a screenshot and post on my Facebook group and I will try to help you.

    Unfortunately whenever I try to grab onto the anchor points with the direct selection tool. I don't get the handles, as well as I can't get it to move smoothly. It simply moves half the grid down like I'm scaling it.

    • @PSDesign
      @PSDesign  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Can you please mention the time so, I can take a look and try to help you? Thanks.

      @@PSDesign At 3:04, when you are using the direct selection tool to pull down the right anchor. My anchor point does not react like that, and after releasing I don't get the handles. It simply moves the anchor point down, so instead of the nice curve that you get here, I just get a straight line going from the left side to the now lowered right side.

    • @PSDesign
      @PSDesign  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Before selecting an anchor point, make sure that you deselect the object by click on the pasteboard (the grey area) then, click on an anchor point then, you'll able to create a nice curve. If you don't see the handlebars then, after selecting the anchor point, work using the "Anchor Point Tool" (Shift+C). Try this and let me know if this helps. Thanks.

    • @JonathanAyers
      @JonathanAyers 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mine rescales correctly; the two objectys move together. But, when using the anchor Point Tool, it only moves one object and they're separate objects. Every way I've tried to join them, unite them, group them, nothing works, the objects still transform separately. How can I join the objects?
