Why is three minutes wasted prior to the announcers coming on, when those three minutes, was use for rapid round for Bible questions that were sent in or emailed in? If this something new, it’s limiting how many questions can be asked within the program time constraints! They need to start at a certain time, rather than the audience, waiting three minutes or longer, before the program actually starts.
Brenda I too pray for your diagnosis of cancer! You were hit with a brick wall. The question of why me is a legit question! One of my favorite Bible chapters is psalms 46. There are many people who are going through the same thing Brenda is facing. I am one. I wish Pastor Doug had spent a couple more minutes with her. His comfort to her would have also brought comfort to others. There are also many who are threatened by other types of deadly medical conditions. I recall the paralytic, who was let down through a roof to Jesus. Before Jesus healed him, Jesus said, "Your sins are forgiven". Jesus knew the biggest thing he needed was the peace that comes when you know your sins are forgiven. Now, even if he died, he was at peace with God. Some nonbelievers face death with more courage than some Christians. If I can't have both courage and peace before I die, I choose peace.
I have been going to my 7 Day Adventist Church for approximately 4 years now we have not had one communion. And when I asked them why they just want to say that they haven't had a chance or are they making excuse

You can communion service at your home with you husband and family. You can also make communion with other church members. You can even ask the pastor and elder to perform it at your home. We are the church, at some state we will not able to attend church in a building anymore, we will have only home church, we must start to be more proactive and stop waiting always on the organization when we see things doesn't move. Of course we should do thing with precaution and respect all rules.
I feel the woman with cancer was not given more time with pastor Doug. She was crying out desperately for help. I wish more time would be given to these kind of callers. She needed Bible texts to lean on. 😢😢😢❤
He did talk quite a while with her, gave her great words from the Bible to lean on, assured her that God is with her during her dark hours, and also said that this may be a witness to unbelievers when she gets through this with God's help, and prayed for her for God to give her strength to get through it. At the end of the call, she didn't say anything and that was it for the call. I know what your saying, but ultimately it will be the Holy Spirit the Comforter, that will be able to ease her mind about this and will help her to be stronger in her faith during this trial.
Then the whole show would crumble. Each episode would then be spending all its time dealing with, praying for the sick or depressed etc. I’m sure Pastor Doug had a staff member take her name and number to get back with her.

While I don't wish to belabor the point today. Last week there were several commenters saying that Hindus should be allowed to partake of Communion. They said the Church Manual supported that, but it does not. Quoting Church Manual: "The Church practices open communion. All who have committed their lives to the Savior may participate." And also quoting Church Manual which is quoting Desire of Ages p. 656: "Christ’s example forbids exclusiveness at the Lord’s Supper. It is true that open sin excludes the guilty. This the Holy Spirit plainly teaches. 1 Cor. 5:11. But beyond this none are to pass judgment." This quote from DA shows that our current practice of allowing Sunday-keeping Christians to partake of Communion with us is wrong, as they are obviously living in open sin. May we be good Bereans, and give glory to King Jesus always!

Some people think they were all destroyed in the Great Flood. Personally I think they were hunted to extinction. But there is no biblical evidence either way to confirm either viewpoint. However Gen 6:19 DOES state "And of EVERY LIVING THING OF ALL FLESH, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female." Which would seem to indicate, if dinosaurs still roamed the earth, they also were brought into the ark. One may argue, "But they would be too large..." But what it all those animals were babies, barely weaned? But, still, this is all conjecture.
winston, most dinosaurs seem to have died in the global flood in Noah's day. It does appear that some continued on, as there are many accounts in history of dinosaurs/dragons in cultures all over the world. . When Jesus said the words at Matthew 23:39, he was quoting from the prophetic words of Psalm 118:26 which says: “Blessed is the one who comes in the name of Jehovah God; we bless you from the house of Jehovah.” Once the temple was destroyed, no one would be coming to it in God’s name!
The 1st temple was built by Moses at the foot of Mt. Sinai. It was a tent made exclusively for travel in the wilderness. Solomon's temple was the 2nd temple and was built after King David died. So David could not have been referring to this temple in Ps 118:26. It was destroyed by Babylon and the Judeans were taken captive into Babylon. Then the Medes and Persians came and overthrew Babylon. Later they gave the commands for the Jews to go back to Jerusalem, rebuild their city and it's temple. This 3rd temple was still standing when Jesus walked this earth. It was later destroyed by Rome in 70AD.

The 7-day Sabbath is not a lunar event. It is a weekly event. Have you not read the creation story in Genesis chapter 1? And the establishment of the 1st Sabbath in Gen 2:1-3? What about what it actually says in Exo 20:8-11? Or Heb 4:4 and 10? This is a weekly Sabbath not lunar. The new moon does not fall on the same day of the week every month. The lunar Sabbath was a monthly day of rest, not weekly.

The Hebrew calendar has 30 days per month not 28. NEVER will a new moon always fall on the same day of the week each and every month. The lunar cycle repeats every 29.5 days..... You have the new moon (also called the dark of the moon). About 7 days later (little bit more) is the 1st quarter (half moon). Then a full moon (almost 15 days from the new moon). Last quarter (also a half moon). Then back to a dark moon (new moon). All you have to do is watch the skies to see this.

Why is three minutes wasted prior to the announcers coming on, when those three minutes, was use for rapid round for Bible questions that were sent in or emailed in? If this something new, it’s limiting how many questions can be asked within the program time constraints! They need to start at a certain time, rather than the audience, waiting three minutes or longer, before the program actually starts.

Divisions in the Church

Again I ask please pray for my beloved friend Scott who is suffering from mental health affliction and addiction. No one can help but God and I have been praying that He would deliver, heal and save my friend. Scott is a kind soul that desperately needs God's help. Please cry out to God with me for my friend.
There are many people who are going through the same thing Brenda is facing. I am one. I wish Pastor Doug had spent a couple more minutes with her. His comfort to her would have also brought comfort to others. There are also many who are threatened by other types of deadly medical conditions. I recall the paralytic, who was let down through a roof to Jesus. Before Jesus healed him, Jesus said, "Your sins are forgiven". Jesus knew the biggest thing he needed was the peace that comes when you know your sins are forgiven. Now, even if he died, he was at peace with God. Some nonbelievers face death with more courage than some Christians. If I can't have both courage and peace before I die, I choose peace.
I have been going to my 7 Day Adventist Church for approximately 4 years now we have not had one communion. And when I asked them why they just want to say that they haven't had a chance or are they making excuse

You can communion service at your home with you husband and family. You can also make communion with other church members. You can even ask the pastor and elder to perform it at your home. We are the church, at some state we will not able to attend church in a building anymore, we will have only home church, we must start to be more proactive and stop waiting always on the organization when we see things doesn't move. Of course we should do thing with precaution and respect all rules.
I feel the woman with cancer was not given more time with pastor Doug. She was crying out desperately for help.

He did talk quite a while with her, gave her great words from the Bible to lean on, assured her that God is with her during her dark hours, and also said that this may be a witness to unbelievers when she gets through this with God's help, and prayed for her for God to give her strength to get through it. At the end of the call, she didn't say anything and that was it for the call.
I know what your saying, but ultimately it will be the Holy Spirit the Comforter, that will be able to ease her mind about this and will help her to be stronger in her faith during this trial.
Then the whole show would crumble. Each episode would then be spending all its time dealing with, praying for the sick or depressed etc. I’m sure Pastor Doug had a staff member take her name and number to get back with her.

Some people think they were all destroyed in the Great Flood. Personally I think they were hunted to extinction. But there is no biblical evidence either way to confirm either viewpoint. However Gen 6:19 DOES state "And of EVERY LIVING THING OF ALL FLESH, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female."
Which would seem to indicate, if dinosaurs still roamed the earth, they also were brought into the ark.
One may argue, "But they would be too large..." But what it all those animals were babies, barely weaned?
But, still, this is all conjecture.
winston, most dinosaurs seem to have died in the global flood in Noah's day. It does appear that some continued on, as there are many accounts in history of dinosaurs/dragons in cultures all over the world.

When Jesus said the words at Matthew 23:39, he was quoting from the prophetic words of Psalm 118:26 which says: “Blessed is the one who comes in the name of Jehovah God; we bless you from the house of Jehovah.” Once the temple was destroyed, no one would be coming to it in God’s name!
The 1st temple was built by Moses at the foot of Mt. Sinai. It was a tent made exclusively for travel in the wilderness.
Solomon's temple was the 2nd temple and was built after King David died. So David could not have been referring to this temple in Ps 118:26. It was destroyed by Babylon and the Judeans were taken captive into Babylon.
Then the Medes and Persians came and overthrew Babylon. Later they gave the commands for the Jews to go back to Jerusalem, rebuild their city and it's temple.
This 3rd temple was still standing when Jesus walked this earth. It was later destroyed by Rome in 70AD.

The 7-day Sabbath is not a lunar event. It is a weekly event. Have you not read the creation story in Genesis chapter 1? And the establishment of the 1st Sabbath in Gen 2:1-3? What about what it actually says in Exo 20:8-11? Or Heb 4:4 and 10? This is a weekly Sabbath not lunar.
The new moon does not fall on the same day of the week every month. The lunar Sabbath was a monthly day of rest, not weekly.

You have the new moon (also called the dark of the moon). About 7 days later (little bit more) is the 1st quarter (half moon). Then a full moon (almost 15 days from the new moon). Last quarter (also a half moon). Then back to a dark moon (new moon).

I cannot aid in a work that God hates, certainly. On the other hand, if I vote against this work, I shall vote against the fulfillment of the prophecy, which is already in progress of fulfillment. This could not possibly do any good; it could not defeat the work which He has foreseen, and suffers to be done. It will surely be done; and I cannot fight against it. Well I know that , I m just saying there has got to be a reason why the new moon. Like I said it could be for remembrance of his sacrifice and new creation of the earth.
