I Beleive that Saturday is the Sabbath. A friend who is a Methodist, told me that she was taught Monday is the First day. Every time I hear about people kissing statues. It makes me feel extremely nauseous to my stomach and how disgusting and warped the ideology these leaders teach people in these churches and it's so satanic and I'm amazed. It was difficult walking away from Sunday worship & all secular holidays. It was confusing bc of so many generations of my family was engrained into me. I follow only Holy Days listen in Leviticus. On Passover, I acknowledge the Hebrews & Jesus Christ’s sacrifice. It says “Remember the Sabbath & KEEP it Holy” Obviously God knew it would be forgotten or changed. Besides Jesus dying for us, learning this truth was paramount for me obeying our Father. Learning that roman papal power changed Sabbath, The 10 Commandments, Lords Prayer & so much, it made me study my bible & study w different pastors until I arrived at my own conclusion. Not some conclusion I was taught or told by a man. Traditions of men are synonymous w paganism. I had no idea why I was honoring certain days or seasons. So grateful Holy Spirit directed me to these truths.

No one keeps the Sabbath. You may go to church on Sabbath, but that is nothing to boast about. You are not following the complete Torah Law, you can't. The Bible no where says you should go to church on Saturday. No one in the Bible ever went to church on Saturday.

Note that Daniel 7:25 wrote that the little horn power will "think to change times and laws".Here is language indicating a failure to change the Sabbath.. Psalm 89:4 speaks against such a change. Note that the Sabbath Commandment contained in the 10 commandments was written with the FINGER OF GOD on Tables of Stone. When the original laws were broken, God again wrote His ten commandments on TABLES OF STONE . I have people all the time trying to tell me that I'm not keeping the true Sabbath day and then I come back to them with God's help to teach them which day is the true Sabbath. I have been a Seventh-Day Adventist ever since I was baptized in 1979 and I will not change and go back to the Sunday keeping churches. Read the letters that the Apostle Paul wrote to the Christians in his day, they were getting caught up in false teaching. A perverted gospel which so many men (and Women ) are preaching today. None of the other commandments seem to have changed, since Jesus still says that stealing, murdering ect. are sins. So then why would the 4th commandment have changed? All the commandments are in harmony with God, and yes, if we have accepted salvation and asked the Holy Spirit to live in us, it will help us do the right thing. But the things listed in the 10 Commandments ARE the right thing! Why are all the other commandments still right, but the 4th one isn't? What I understand Paul is referring to whenever he says we are freed from the law, is that he's not directly referring to the 10 Commandments, or any other thing that God explicitly commands, (notice he never says we are free from the burden of God's COMMANDMENTS), but the PENALTY of the law, since the wages of breaking the law, aka sinning, is death. We are free from the penalty of eternal death for our sins if we repent and ask for God's forgiveness. Think about it. Would you agree that God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit have the same intentions and are in agreement? Jesus Himself says "I and the Father are one,". So then if God is the one instigating the law, (meaning what He says are right and wrong), have what we are to do and not do changed? You'll notice that only two of the commandments are about "doing" something instead of "thou shalt not"; "Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy" and "Honor your father and mother". Would you agree that honoring your parents is still valid? After all, Jesus did it, and He's our prime example. Then why is the Sabbath any different? I hope this helps. In our modern day times, the chage of calenders and all. Saturday could be Sunday, Monday, or any day of the week. So are we really worshing on the seventh day of the week according to the Jewish calendar. Let's not fool ourselves. Free yourself, and just know that today is the accepted time of salvation. This means you are free to rest any day off the week or worship any day off the week. God is not offended by it.

I'm not a historian (and neither was Ellen apparently) but it's only logical to conclude that Constantine made Sunday an official "day off" BECAUSE he was a Christian and that was already the Christian day of worship. If Sunday worship was really a pagan oppression of the "real" Christians, then why didn't all the pagan emperors before Constantine make laws against worship on Saturday? Why didn't the pagan emperors before him make Sunday an official day of pagan worship? You don't have to be a "scholar" like Doug to figure this out!

As the Apostle Peter said there are those who are twisting the scriptures. This man is twisting the scriptures . In Galatians 5 Paul said he was worried about those trying to follow law for salvation. He also said the law was a teacher leading to Christ. Jesus said that he fulfilled the law. Again in Hebrews 10:11Paul highlighted that the blood of goats and bulls could not take away sins permanently but Christ offered his blood once for all time. Gal 5:14 says the ENTIRE law (which would include the sabbath) has been fulfilled in one commandment namely the you should love your neighbour as yourself

Here’s a rebuttal: Some Pastors prove that the Sabbath is Saturday, and that Sunday isn’t Sabbath. While other Pastors have churches that says Sunday worship services are fine. Catholic and Anglican churches have Sunday mass/services. While various Greek and other Orthodox churches worship on both days; with some having exclusive traditions to differentiate the Saturday’s from Sunday’s. At the end when Jesus comes there will be 2 churches on earth, one that coerses the people to worship on Sunday or they won't be able to buy or sell and the second church which will be persicuted nearly to death will be keeping Sabbath and have the faith of Jesus.
Sunday was introduced by Rome in the 3rd century. The Christians were persicuted by Rome until Emperor Constantine offered a compromise.(That's when the Catholic church was born) If you except Sunday as the new day of worship, then all the pagans will join the church. The pagans worshiped the Sun god. It's hard to understand the stress the early Christians were going through... being thrown to the lions or killed by gladiators or hunted down and killed like dogs. They were glad for peace. By compromising they brought trouble into the church which is still there today.

Doug Batchelor, the name Sunday does not appear in the Bible neither does Saturday. Please research the Jewish names for the days of the week instead of delighting in teaching that the "day of the sun" is wrong for worship. Saturday is named after "Saturn" which is the name of another pagan god. It's one of SDA's weakest argument when they highlight the pagan names of the days of the week

I am in total agreement with this. I do have a sincere question though, and that is, are we supposed to have corporate worship on the Sabbath? As a pastor, I am wondering this because I believe in the Sabbath and want to honor it, but I don't know if scripture says anything about corporate worship having to be on the Sabbath. If it does, then I want to know. I am currently pastoring a Methodist Church who has been having corporate worship on Sundays long before I was born, so if we are to worship on the Sabbath corporately, and they don't want to go along with that, then I will know whether or not I need to step down as the pastor. Hello Randy. Do you believe that Jesus fulfilled all of the law or do we have to keep every jot and tittle of it?...... Matt 5:17 ¶ Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. It would seem from this passage that either Jesus fulfilled all of the law or not one jot has passed. That would include every stoning law and the law about divorce and remarriage (Deu 24). For Messiah to have been crucified and dead for three days to be found missing from the tomb on the first day of the week, he couldn't possibly have been crucified on a Friday. It's mathematically impossible. Numbers don't lie. He was laid to rest prior to sunset on a Wednesday.

Appreciate the teaching on Sabbath. But would appreciate even more the correction on Yeshua's death, burial and resurrection. Yeshua said He would be buried three days and three nights. That there would be one sign, the sign of Jonah. Passover Crucification, in the tomb by High Holy Day of Unleavened Bread, which is a High Sabbath, then the ladies purchases spices, then the weekly Sabbath, where they rested. Yeshua rose as the end of the Weekly Sabbath, as He had already risen before they arrived when it was yet dark. Shalom B'Yeshua. 😇🕊🌹🔥💖

NO !! God hasn't changed, and neither has his calendar. Man changed the calendar. The sabbath was given to the nation of Israel as a covenant. His correct sabbath is found on the lunarsolar calendar. Neither sunday or saturday is God's day, on this calendar.

Never mentions it was given to anyone before that. And not Gentiles. And here we go again, using Catholics to prove the Saturday issue. Sunday was always a day of remembrance of the resurrection of Christ long before Catholics came on the scene. The bible speaks about it. Paul the apostle says that any day is a day unto the Lord, in this age of grace ONLY ! it is a shadow of things to come. Israel was worshipping on a different calendar for the sabbath anyway.

If the purpose of the Sabbath in the Old Testament/Old Covenant was to remember the Exodus from Egypt - then the purpose of the Sabbath in the New Testament/New Covenant is to remember the True Exodus which came through Jesus Christ, which is the Exodus from sin and death, and which is clearly greater than the Old Covenant Exodus; for Christ's Exodus was accomplished by his death and his resurrection - his resurrection which took place on the First Day of the week - Sunday - not Saturday. The altar in the Temple was not done away with but transformed into the wood of the cross. So too with the Old Covenant Sabbath, it was not taken away but transformed by Christ from the Deuteronomy 5:15 rememberence of the Exodus from slavery to Pharaoh in Egypt - to the reality that God had always planned - the Exodus from slavery to sin. That is why Hebrews tells us that there is still a Sabbath day for Christians to keep but that it is On Another Day - that is what Hebrews tells us - the Sabbath is to be kept but kept on Another Day - its right there in Hebrews. Hebrews 4: 8-11, specifically verse 8, shows us its on "another day" For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day. 9 There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; 10 for anyone who enters God’s rest so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience. In addition - by Christ's resurrection on the First Day of the week - Sunday - Christ has brought about a New Creation - which the New Testament confirms - Christ Jesus IS the New Creation and He IS First-Fruits. There are Sunday Sabbaths in the Old Testament (Lev 23: 9-14) called First-Fruits. The 4th commandment (of the 10 Commandments) says that christians should REST on the Sabbath day. I've regularly rested on the Sabbath day ... and attended my church's gathering on Sunday ...

The "you"s in these verses are referring to the Israelites that were delivered from Egyptian slavery, not to christians in 2020. Deut 5:15 gives the memorial reason for sabbath observance. If Ex. 20:8 or Ex. 31:17 were not in the bible, there would be ample verses telling us God is creator, like Genesis chapter 1. Church attendance on saturdays does not tell us, or remind us that God is creator. I can learn that God is creator without the sabbath simply by reading Genesis 1, this is the memorial of God as creator.

My name is Julian Bergman and I come from a Anglican(my brother and I left because he did not feel comfortable kissing a stachew of jesus's feet at easter) and catholic (was an alter boy at both churches I left when the girl I had gone out with left me) back ground I always use to think these people are weird going to church on a Saturday. But after many year I accepted the LORD as the Savior of my life, after my pastors wife gave my 5 cd"s about the end time which touched me but there was no mention of the Sabbath. I posed the question(about the Sabbath)to my pastor and because I got an unsatisfactory answer I started on my own quest.
I listened/watched this video countless times and sent it to my pastor. Sad to say I still haven't received a response or even a talk over about it.

The Bible does infact show that Sunday is Christ's Sabbath and that it was God's plan before the foundation of the world. The Book of Deuteronomy clearly shows this. Sunday is Christ's New Covenant Sabbath. Here is how and why.
In the Old Testament there are two lists of the Ten Commandments, one in the Book of Exodus and another list is in the Book of Deuteronomy: Ex 20:1-17 and Deut 5:1-21, both of which explain the purpose of the Sabbath but both explain the purpose of the Sabbath differently.

It was difficult walking away from Sunday worship & all secular holidays. It was confusing bc of so many generations of my family was engrained into me. I follow only Holy Days listen in Leviticus. On Passover, I acknowledge the Hebrews & Jesus Christ’s sacrifice. It says “Remember the Sabbath & KEEP it Holy”
Obviously God knew it would be forgotten or changed.
Besides Jesus dying for us, learning this truth was paramount for me obeying our Father. Learning that roman papal power changed Sabbath, The 10 Commandments, Lords Prayer & so much, it made me study my bible & study w different pastors until I arrived at my own conclusion. Not some conclusion I was taught or told by a man. Traditions of men are synonymous w paganism. I had no idea why I was honoring certain days or seasons. It's incredible how 99% of Christians eagerly accept the Papacy's day of the Sun, in the place of God's 7th day memorial of creation. They just accept it willingly like nothing, without the least effort to study for themselves God's word vs. man's word. God's Commandments vs. human laws. I'd rather listen to GOD, than the Papacy, or Christian pagan tradition. Mixing the unholy with the holy. Mixing the day of the Sun, with God. That's idolatry. The Sabbath Law is not changed from Saturday to Sunday - The tradition of the Christian church is to meet together on Sunday, the first day of the week. Some interpret this day of meeting as the day in which the Sabbath, the seventh day of the week, was changed to be fulfilled on the first day of the week (hence the term, Christian Sabbath). In support of this view, three Scripture references are given to show that Sunday is now the Sabbath day for Christians (Acts 20:7, 1 Corinthians 16:2, Revelation 1:10). However, within the context of these passages, there is no reference to the Sabbath nor is there any element of the Sabbath law. It is certainly possible to construe from these passages that indeed the New Testament church carries on the tradition of gathering together for fellowship, breaking of bread, teaching, and worship, However, it is not possible to interpret from these passages that the New Testament church gathers on Sunday to fulfill the Sabbath law. Any interpretation of this as being a Sabbath for the New Testament church requires a large amount of eisegesis. Scripture is absent of any direction or commandment is given by God that advocates the changing of the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday. If indeed we are to fulfill the Sabbath law of the Decalogue today, as some would suggest, it takes a lot of gall and outright rebellion to change what God called holy, the seventh day, to the first day of the week without having distinct direction from God. What you do on the Sabbath is your business but it probably nothing like what the Apostles and other Jesus followers did on the Sabbath. Don't ever compare your going to church and sitting around feeling blessed and then bragging about it with the bravery of the Apostles who risked life and limb to go to believers on the Sabbath, both Jews and Gentiles and share the Good New of Yeshua with unsaved men and women at their peril.

Exactly. God does no change, so His Holy Sabbath cannot be Changed. Note that Daniel 7:25 wrote that the little horn power will "think to change times and laws".Here is language indicating a failure to change the Sabbath..

Note that the Sabbath Commandment contained in the 10 commandments was written with the FINGER OF GOD on Tables of Stone. When the original laws were broken, God again wrote His ten commandments on TABLES OF STONE . I have people all the time trying to tell me that I'm not keeping the true Sabbath day and then I come back to them with God's help to teach them which day is the true Sabbath. I have been a Seventh-Day Adventist ever since I was baptized in 1979 and I will not change and go back to the Sunday keeping churches. I will stay with the Seventh Day Adventist Church because in it I have found truth and a very loving God who has Mercy.

Read the letters that the Apostle Paul wrote to the Christians in his day, they were getting caught up in false teaching. A perverted gospel which so many men (and Women ) are preaching today. Do not listen to men, they will lead you astray ( like the blind leading the blind ). If what you hear coming out of a man's mouth does not line up with the truth ( God's word ) run as far and as fast as you can. Read God's word and ask the Father to reveal truth to you. None of the other commandments seem to have changed, since Jesus still says that stealing, murdering ect. are sins. So then why would the 4th commandment have changed? All the commandments are in harmony with God, and yes, if we have accepted salvation and asked the Holy Spirit to live in us, it will help us do the right thing. What I understand Paul is referring to whenever he says we are freed from the law, is that he's not directly referring to the 10 Commandments, or any other thing that God explicitly commands, (notice he never says we are free from the burden of God's COMMANDMENTS), but the PENALTY of the law, since the wages of breaking the law, aka sinning, is death. We are free from the penalty of eternal death for our sins if we repent and ask for God's forgiveness.
Think about it. Would you agree that God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit have the same intentions and are in agreement? Jesus Himself says "I and the Father are one,". So then if God is the one instigating the law, (meaning what He says are right and wrong), have what we are to do and not do changed? You'll notice that only two of the commandments are about "doing" something instead of "thou shalt not"; "Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy" and "Honor your father and mother". Would you agree that honoring your parents is still valid? After all, Jesus did it, and He's our prime example. Then why is the Sabbath any different?

The Bible does infact show that Sunday is Christ's Sabbath and that it was God's plan before the foundation of the world. The Book of Deuteronomy clearly shows this. Sunday is Christ's New Covenant Sabbath. Here is how and why.

God says to rest on the Sabbath. That means to rest not to worship. Worshipping is not resting.
In our modern day times, the chage of calenders and all. Saturday could be Sunday, Monday, or any day of the week. So are we really worshing on the seventh day of the week according to the Jewish calendar. Let's not fool ourselves. Free yourself, and just know that today is the accepted time of salvation. This means you are free to rest any day off the week or worship any day off the week. God is not offended by it.

I'm not a historian (and neither was Ellen apparently) but it's only logical to conclude that Constantine made Sunday an official "day off" BECAUSE he was a Christian and that was already the Christian day of worship. If Sunday worship was really a pagan oppression of the "real" Christians, then why didn't all the pagan emperors before Constantine make laws against worship on Saturday? Why didn't the pagan emperors before him make Sunday an official day of pagan worship? You don't have to be a "scholar" like Doug to figure this out!

As the Apostle Peter said there are those who are twisting the scriptures. This man is twisting the scriptures . In Galatians 5 Paul said he was worried about those trying to follow law for salvation. He also said the law was a teacher leading to Christ. Jesus said that he fulfilled the law. Again in Hebrews 10:11Paul highlighted that the blood of goats and bulls could not take away sins permanently but Christ offered his blood once for all time. Gal 5:14 says the ENTIRE law (which would include the sabbath) has been fulfilled in one commandment namely the you should love your neighbour as yourself

He said I am giving you a new command that you love one another
He also commanded them to preach the good news and make disciples
Galatians 5:14 says for the entire law is fulfilled in one commandment that you must love your neighbour
The entire law includes the sabbath. Jesus fulfilled the law so we are no longer under law but we are under the law of the Christ

Seems like the only problem Christians have with the law is especially the fourth one which was referring to the Sabbath. Sunday worship has no scriptural ordination or sanctification by God. Here’s a rebuttal:
Some Pastors prove that the Sabbath is Saturday, and that Sunday isn’t Sabbath.
While other Pastors have churches that says Sunday worship services are fine.
Catholic and Anglican churches have Sunday mass/services.
While various Greek and other Orthodox churches worship on both days; with some having exclusive traditions to differentiate the Saturday’s from Sunday’s.
However, all the lessons, sermons and preaching that I have ever heard from Saturday-for-Sabbath-preferring Pastors have their argumentation revolving just around this: - Any worship shouldn’t be done on Sunday but must be done on Saturday.
Note: The Biblical law in Exodus simply says that the Sabbath is a day of rest and to keep it Holy.
So, here’s what I want to understand:
1) What is wrong with worshipping the Lord on the other six days? What is wrong with worshipping the Lord on Sunday then? Is it forbidden?
2) What is wrong with worshipping the Lord on a Sunday while also resting and not doing any work on Sabbath/Saturday? Is doing both things forbidden? Is there a command that Sunday must be a working day and must not be a worshipping day?
Please argue and reason with that.

At the end when Jesus comes there will be 2 churches on earth, one that coerses the people to worship on Sunday or they won't be able to buy or sell and the second church which will be persicuted nearly to death will be keeping Sabbath and have the faith of Jesus.
Sunday was introduced by Rome in the 3rd century. The Christians were persicuted by Rome until Emperor Constantine offered a compromise.(That's when the Catholic church was born) If you except Sunday as the new day of worship, then all the pagans will join the church. The pagans worshiped the Sun god. It's hard to understand the stress the early Christians were going through... being thrown to the lions or killed by gladiators or hunted down and killed like dogs. They were glad for peace. By compromising they brought trouble into the church which is still there today.

Jesus did not come to destroy the law but to fullfill the law and he has... when He was tested in the wildnerness by Satan, Jesus quoted from the law. "Thou shalt not test the Lord thy God." "Man shall not live on bread alone but by every word that comes out from the mouth of God." "Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only." These are scriptures all quoted from Deuteronomy which is one of the five books of the Penteteuch. He did not make the law moot, he came to fullfill it.
Jesus also said that the greatest commandment is "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your strength." Which is also found in various verses in Deuteronomy. And "Love your neighbour as yourself." Is found in Leviticus.
Jesus came to FULLFILL the law not to destroy it.
It is GOD'S Law "You shall not add onto the word that I command you, nor TAKE from it that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you." Deuteronomy 4:2 and because the Ten Commandments is God's Law the Law is holy and righteous. The Law of God is just as important as it was back in the Old Testament and New Testament.
The Ten Commandments are also prophecy.

No it isn't, Saturday is the Sabbath.
Doug Batchelor, the name Sunday does not appear in the Bible neither does Saturday. Please research the Jewish names for the days of the week instead of delighting in teaching that the "day of the sun" is wrong for worship. Saturday is named after "Saturn" which is the name of another pagan god. It's one of SDA's weakest argument when they highlight the pagan names of the days of the week

I am in total agreement with this. I do have a sincere question though, and that is, are we supposed to have corporate worship on the Sabbath? As a pastor, I am wondering this because I believe in the Sabbath and want to honor it, but I don't know if scripture says anything about corporate worship having to be on the Sabbath. If it does, then I want to know. I am currently pastoring a Methodist Church who has been having corporate worship on Sundays long before I was born, so if we are to worship on the Sabbath corporately, and they don't want to go along with that, then I will know whether or not I need to step down as the pastor. So, this is a very big deal. Thank you

Do you believe that Jesus fulfilled all of the law or do we have to keep every jot and tittle of it?......
Matt 5:17 ¶ Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
It would seem from this passage that either Jesus fulfilled all of the law or not one jot has passed. That would include every stoning law and the law about divorce and remarriage (Deu 24).
One more question, In what way did Jesus fulfill the sacrifices?

I have heard many non-adventist pastors saying that Sabbath is the seventh day (Saturday). They keep Sabbath but still go to church on Sunday.
That's because they'd lose their job and retirement if they declared Sabbath.
That is because Sunday is not regarded as a Sabbath and no one claims that Sunday inherently replaces a Sabbath.

The Bible does infact show that Sunday is Christ's Sabbath and that it was God's plan before the foundation of the world. The Book of Deuteronomy clearly shows this. Sunday is Christ's New Covenant Sabbath. Here is how and why.
In the Old Testament there are two lists of the Ten Commandments, one in the Book of Exodus and another list is in the Book of Deuteronomy: Ex 20:1-17 and Deut 5:1-21, both of which explain the purpose of the Sabbath but both explain the purpose of the Sabbath differently.

For Messiah to have been crucified and dead for three days to be found missing from the tomb on the first day of the week, he couldn't possibly have been crucified on a Friday. It's mathematically impossible. Numbers don't lie. He was laid to rest prior to sunset on a Wednesday.

Appreciate the teaching on Sabbath. But would appreciate even more the correction on Yeshua's death, burial and resurrection. Yeshua said He would be buried three days and three nights. That there would be one sign, the sign of Jonah. Passover Crucification, in the tomb by High Holy Day of Unleavened Bread, which is a High Sabbath, then the ladies purchases spices, then the weekly Sabbath, where they rested. Why are there ZERO editing words included 50 years or more after JESUS left Earth (New Covenant era) regarding Sabbath cessation, abrogation, abolishing, obliteration, being a shadow, fulfilled by Christ, not valid for gentiles.. in any of the sabbath verses of JOHN's sabbath accounts in JOHN's chapters 5,7 and 9 ???? If it was a big deal enough for JOHN to include 3 sabbath encounters in his gospel account, wouldn't it be obvious that he would mention about the disciples/church trashing it and replacing it with a SUNday/Lord's Day observance???? This argument does not get presented or answered in SABBATH/SUNday-Lord's Day debates. Was JOHN a clueless, crazy, stupid idiot???
The 4th commandment (of the 10 Commandments) says that christians should REST on the Sabbath day.

Seriously? Do you really know what you're saying? Do you truly know your Bible? Sabbath was no longer observed by the early Christians up to now. Even the Bible said " ON THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK", we gather for the "BREAKING OF THE BREAD", that's the Biblical Proof that SUNDAY was already Observed by the earliest Christians and called it THE LORD'S DAY. And that's what is going on since then the Breaking of the Bread, which was later called the Mass or Eucharistic Rite.
You mentioned "4th Commandment", now tell me if you really know your Bible. Am sure you believed in the so called "Ten Commandments". Tell me then where in the Bible Chapter and Verses can you find the words Ten Commandments? Because you Non-Catholics don't believe if it's not written in the Bible. C'mon tell me and educate me.

Secondly , You asked where we can find the ten commandments in the bible, I know you are used to the caticahism, Read Exodus 20: 1_17, God still commands us to keep all his statues and on the fourth commandment he says" Remember" the sabbath day.
The word remember means , something which had already existed before, you are now reminded not to forget it.
Even during the Apostolic period, the day of worship worship wasn't a question to be asked, everybody knew the sabbath day as Saturday and even the Gentiles knew this,,,

@@gerdz101 no, the sabbath is a covenant sign between God and Israel (Ex. 31:12-13 & Ex. 31:17) . The "you"s in these verses are referring to the Israelites that were delivered from Egyptian slavery, not to christians in 2020. Deut 5:15 gives the memorial reason for sabbath observance.
If Ex. 20:8 or Ex. 31:17 were not in the bible, there would be ample verses telling us God is creator, like Genesis chapter 1. Church attendance on saturdays does not tell us, or remind us that God is creator. I can learn that God is creator without the sabbath simply by reading Genesis 1, this is the memorial of God as creator.

I will be waiting to see Jesus words, but I won’t hold my breath. People twist texts to try to rationalize to keep Sunday. Breaking bead on the first day is having a meal. Picking up donations for Paul to take to Jerusalem, to take it to the poor on his travels is not a worship service. When they assembled together in fear of the Jews, that was not a worship service. When Mary and others went to anoint Jesus body on the first day of the week they saw Jesus that was not worship. There are only 8 texts that talk about the first day of the week none say it is Sabbath or worship. Jesus and the disciples got together different days of the week, that doesn’t mean each day was a Sabbath because they got together, that would be ridiculous,but that is what so many are doing if they got together to eat or communicate with each other

As far as being the New Testament church( issue ) Hebrews 8:10 is specifically addressed to the New Testament Church. Read it, it points write back to the original LAW, known as the Ten Commandments! 2 Timothy 3:16 validates the whole Bible. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for Doctrine, for reproof, for Correction, for instruction in righteousness.
