Thank you, this was so helpful! I'm still young so I'm not looking intensely at colleges or anything, but it is still so fun to see what possibilities are out there. Pepperdine is a beautiful school and you had such a well constructed and detailed tour. I wish every school had a video like this that people could watch! This was amazing.

you wouldn't happen to be in the Masters of Arts teaching program? if so could you talk a little bit about your experience? I'm considering applying to Pepperdine for my teaching credential.
@@jenniferasa1203 I am! I'm actually graduating from the MAT program with my English credential in a couple weeks! I've loved my time in the program, even though it was all online. It was a small cohort of students which was great for making connections. Also, some of the professors are incredible people who I am so thankful to have in my life. It's short (and intense), but for me, that was a plus because the sooner I'm done with school, the sooner I can get into the classroom as a lead teacher. I'd be happy to talk with you and answer any other questions you might have. I also was accepted to some other programs including USC but I chose Pepperdine because I love the small school aspect and it's closer to the area where I want to be connected with.
First I am super excited that Pepperdine is in my top two for graduate schools. (I'll be graduating from Undergrad in 2022)
Second, my undergrad is at Messiah University, so the PA version of Pepperdine and they only lowered tuition by $2000

This was my dream school but I never applied because I know I’m not smart enough to get accepted into this school and I know I won’t be able to afford it 😩

My daughter applied to UC's and Cal states. She applied yesterday to Pepperdine at the deadline. We probably won't be able to afford it.

if you want to be on the malibu campus you'll have to pick one that's here in malibu! cuz we have multiple campuses and some programs are offered exclusively at certain ones

i’m gonna be a senior this year and it would be a dream to go to this school just for the purpose of going to the school where Zoey 101 was filmed BUT i live all the way on the east coast sooo that’s probably not an option for me depending on pricing lol cuz i’m also a twin and have two more siblings in college so as u can imagine $$$$, but it is great to see what the school looks like in reality

you're allowed to have a dog if they're registered as a support animal i believe. i was living in faculty housing with my parents that summer and they allow animals! that's why i had my dog :)

lowkey thinking about going here, got a few questions, how much was your scholarships for tuition, they took off about 15k for me per year (idk if thats the normal amount or what), is there a club for people that like to ski/snowboard? any clue how they support students with IEPs/learning disabilities? thanks
i got like $30k in financial aid overall? i mean financial aid depends on your situation and how much income and stuff your family makes. i don't think there's a club for skiing or snowboarding but hey you can always start one! yes the office of student accessibility supports students with learning disabilities and overall i think they try to be pretty accommodating. you can email them to learn more

hi! that's interesting you heard that, no i don't think it's rare to see couples at pepperdine at all? there are a lot of couples here. also a lot of people come in w/ high school sweethearts or they date outside of pepperdine too, but there is a goooood amount of couples who meet @ pepperdine or attend pepperdine together

nope, there's no official greek housing on campus, i think it's bc malibu doesn't allow it? but yeah, tbh i like it bc greek life here is more chill than at other schools

Depends on how much financial aid you get bc costs vary for everyone. I think there are defs things pepp could manage better financially. Tbh no I don’t think college degrees are worth what they’re paid for nowadays but it’s like what are u gonna do 😭 I need a degree. I made videos on finances and if it’s worth the cost:
