Would you say Pepperdine is worth it for Graduate school? Looking at it for doctorate in Clinical Psychology so I wouldn't be able to work much. It estimates about $150k which is similar to Midwestern in AZ

do they let you cook by yourself if you are living in the campus dorms? Iam planning to go pepperdine for my masters in law and so im really curious to know everything that i could about the place.

I NEEDED THIS VIDEO SO MUCH!!!!!! Thank you thank you!!! I will be transferring (Hopefully) to Pepperdine in fall 2019, and I have been freaking out about paying for this school because of my family's financial situation as well. Thank you so much for these tips, SOOOO helpful!

As a Pepperdine grad class of 2007. I agree that students can make it work. My family fell in the lower middle class range but I didn't let that stop me. Pepperdine actually does offer some 0% loans and even after the semester starts to can ask financial aid if any scholarships went unclaimed.
I did summer school every year, studied abroad my entire sophomore year and did the DC internship program. The entire time I was did campus housing.
I graduated with less than 50k of student loans with 25k being 0 interest.
It may sound like a lot but hands down I received the best education and experiences I could imagine. My own campus job covered my sorority and auto costs and I worked full time any time I was home.
A dream is always worth the sacrifice. 🧡💙🧡💙

Hi, you said best education and experiences. Were they worth that price tag though? Would elsewhere that is 1/2 the price be just as good? In your opinion, what is more important - the university you graduated from OR your major?

@@corabrei Hi Cora I just had some thoughts on transferring and wanted to get your opinion. I'll be applying as a transfer to my dream school because I'd still like to attend it because of the great opportunities there. However, if I don't manage to get in I'll stay at my current school. Is this a good idea to just apply to my one dream school? I still really would like to go there but if I don't get in I'm still happy with my current school environment both personally and academically.

did you live on campus? is housing in Malibu expensive? were you left in any debt from the previous school you went to? I'm thinking about grad school and I am absolutely clueless on how people pay for this stuff.

I got accepted and am hoping to gather enough finances to attend in the Spring. Could you give me a recommendation and approximate amount of where you worked at the theme park? It doesn't sound like a bad job)

You should have started a CC then transfer to Pepperdine that would have slash prices in half, as well as allow to work. I work two security jobs help me pay off college debt free and have income saved up. Since you are in LA you can work for Apple security for they have a base in Cupertino, SF, SJ, Fremont LA, etc. worked there 16 months they will take care of you also, major in something that will pay off
