I'm not even a snowmobile rider but I watch the video for the dad's hilarious one liners!!! Sniveling in their balaclavas
Hope I’m ripping sleds when I’m Mark’s age 🤜🏼
I live near Kalamazoo MI .. Although we had 10 snow days this winter I was busy with other things.. thinking the trail needed to get the first snow packed the mud holes frozen and a bit more snow .. then it was 60F the next week.
Never rode my sleds 1 mile this season. I got both sleds out added some Stable oil to the gas rode them around the yard once and put them away for the season.
I tell you the Yamaha Attack has some hit sod for traction. I hit the throttle and the front end came up ..
My 800 CC Skidoo Renegade is no slouch either.
Still hoping for that Grand Solar Minium instead of Gullible Warming caused by HARP and Cloud Seeding ect..and Chem trails ..
Yeah I totally understand.. I live in Oakland co and usually do big rides every year for many many years in the UP or wherever there is snow here in the state .. I only did 4 miles to exercise it just because I couldnt stand it sitting which it never does in winter … not selling and not buying a new one (love too) but winter is not winter past couple years - this year was a bummer .. and before that Yamaha is no longer a sled brand … thought about making a ice sled but it’s doesn’t get cold enough for long … enough of winter ! Time for T shirt toys , shorts , boats and street fun !
@@JDRTRM I was planning to ride in the UP this Winter for the first time. I bought a pickup camper.. It's such a long drive I planned to stay up there for a week .
Is there a better looking sled on the snow? I don’t think so. Of course, a subjective topic. That design continues to stand out. Just contemplating ordering a ‘25 right now. 2 days to do so. Aside from a grade B gauge I can live with my only other wish would be a Cobra track option; which isn’t available from factory. Kudos to Polaris for giving the consumer more track options.
As Bruce would ask... "Does it come in black?" ;) Looks like a fantastic sled.
I have seen so many videos of people tuning these yamaha 4 strokes to 300 hp and beyond,
It's a shame they are leaving.
Who knows what they could have done if they stayed and continued to innovate.
Just imagine their engine in an Arctic Cat. Ta Da, that's what you get. Hopefully, AC will continue to use the Yamaha power in the catalyst.
@corbensquirrel8245 they won't, their partnership with AC is up after this year. Also the 998 engine won't fit in the catalyst anyways so no more Thundercats from AC
Maybe Polaris will sign Yamaha to build high power 4 stroke motors. Plus teach Polaris how to build a quality motor.
Polaris current 4 stroke. 😂
@@bigchaloopa that's the rumous Mt dealer said he heard
If polaris took on a Yamaha engine watch out competition
It will be interesting to see how long Cat keeps using the 998. Also don't think we didn't notice the B roll footage of the 2020 XTX haha yeah I know it's practically the same sled. That 2020 is my favorite color scheme!!!
2025 will be the last year. This chassis will be gone for 2026 and the motor won't fit in the catalyst chassis.
An easter egg to make sure everyone is paying attention 😁
The Yamacat is the most durability sled on the market...20000 km on mine now with no issue...
@@chrism4351But it should be able to do the chassi wider like ski doo with 900 ace engine
@@MrGrobert1 That's respectable but not exceptional mileage.
Great looking Yammi!!
Sad to see that motor set into the sunset I’ve had my srx tuned to 270 hp for years and it’s never missed a beat
Nice!
Where did you get it tuned? Did it still have good trail manners?
@@JGR1517 feels just as smooth as factory we did the turbo dynamics power trail tune with cold air intake in Michigan I used thunder power sports in essexville highly recommend it!
Any sled with 200hp is gonna be likeable
Almost $30,000 for a chassis that was initially conceived 14 or 15 years ago, no wonder they are exiting.
Yeah that is a steep price....But let's not forget that the "meta" as some may say, is light weight two stroke turbo sleds. Sad to seem them go but it is what it is.
In my opinion, well worth the cost considering the longevity of these Yamahas!
@@shannonjarvis8766 That's the thing, they aren't Yamahas.
I can appreciate that, but I still love mine.
Really similar to the Arctic Cat Riot 9000 ATAC, 146 1.6"
So explain to me who in their right mind is going to drop 30k Canadian on a sled that will be gone next year? Anyone that buys one of these I have some ocean front property in Arizona for you.
Yama was the best!
I love Yamaha engines. And I do like Sidewinder because the power is solid. But for me, for some reason.. the front has always looked so frail.
So far???
What’s the fastest factory turbo both 2 stroke and 4 stroke is sidewinder the fastest turbo out thanks
Fastest is the 850 turbo doo by 2 mph. But that's stock for stock
@@wasupfool5692where’d you find that info? I’m not saying I don’t believe it, I’m a ski doo guy myself, but I figured the sidewinder is still the fastest.
🤑
I'm not sure why anyone even want to see anything about yamaha snowmobiles seeing they are over,
