Suprise, Suprise! Looks like Rosie has a highland/hereford cross calf! that was unexpected! 100acrewoodhighlands www.100acrewoodhighlands.com to contact us please visit our website!
Surprise surprise. His daddy was a very fast boy! Lol. But baby is a sweetie. His back legs seem to be hairier than a Hereford. Will be fun to see all of what he looks like. And he seems healthy. He’s sweet.
This won't ruin Rosie's pure bred will it? I have no clue. He sure is cute. Name him Patch, Whoopsie..haha. Good to see you Rhett. Hope all is well with your family Take care
Well well, you are so right!!! His coat looks soft and plush. He sure is cute. She looks very heavy ... Fun to learn from you. All the best. I hear them. Poor baby ...
It's reba again. I know for a fact that I watched this video over 25 or 30 times. Just your words "Rosy, you've got some splaining to do". Just thrilled my heart so good and made me so glad to watch new life come about. Then you posted that little darling was killed by coyotes, and I have cried every single time I have thought about that precious darling's life was snuffed out. I know that those things are part of life but the hurt of losing that baby that way just kills me inside. I have watched the videos you have posted and you have a "few" highland Hereford crosses now. I know you spent a lot of money for AI but those little white faces are so cute. AND you'll get some good beef for your family.
Well, that was unexpected. Rosie, is there something you need to tell us?😉 He already looks a bit more robust, bigger, cutie patootie😊 Wishing the doggo a speedy recovery. Take care & cheers🐨🦘🥰
Absolutely love your fold of Highlands. They are gorgeous and apparently mischievous as well with getting that cute mixed breed there. Hope the others will be Highland ones though. Best of luck and will be looking for the new updates!!😊
Maybe make him a steer and see if Chad's dad grandpa Adler would want him? He's adorable and hope he never sees freezer camp and finds himself in a loving forever home. 💗
oops. You know if that white head would turn curly, that would be cool. Will be an interesting journey. Yep, at least you got a healthy calf. Thanks for sharing.
Whoops I know not good for your but as you said you're going to make him into a steer and you can raise him up for beef for your freezer that wasn't your plan in the first place of course but since it happened you might as well do it that away to feel your freezer. I know it's not making a profit off of as far as money goes but in a way it is because you're not going to have to buy beef for a while once he gets up to go to freezer camp and hopefully that sooner then a regular highland would being across breed. That may sound harsh me but that's part of life and part of ranching just being honest. Hopefully none of the others we're bread by the sneaky Hereford bulls if you get any more you could sell them hopefully it's just the one and you can keep him for freezer camp. God bless yall.
He is such a cute little calf!! So, do Herefords not have horns? Love your channel and I am looking forward to seeing what the girls will have. I wish the embryos would have taken. But, interested in what they will have. ❤
Ok cool. I was curious, wasn't fully sure if you was a rancher or a homesteader or a little of both. I'm looking to get into homesteading and see where that goes. Researching what cow is best. And stumbled on your channel and love it
Oh I love the baby but if I had such an investment as you do in your Highlands, I’d be furious at the owner of the Hereford that impregnated your Highland🤔😂
Love the facial marking around the eye!
NAME: BullsEye 😊
Harry the HIGHFORD, or the HERLAND... He's a beautiful boy either way. Prayers for the pupper for fast healing.
Call him Patch. Or Pirate!
That white face is adorable. Can’t wait to see how hairy he gets. 🇨🇦
He is a cutie for sure.
He's so cute. Popeye calf.
Surprise surprise. His daddy was a very fast boy! Lol. But baby is a sweetie. His back legs seem to be hairier than a Hereford. Will be fun to see all of what he looks like. And he seems healthy. He’s sweet.
Oh wow! He sure is a cutie. I think Pirate is cool for his name.
He's a nice looking little fellow
This won't ruin Rosie's pure bred will it? I have no clue. He sure is cute. Name him Patch, Whoopsie..haha. Good to see you Rhett. Hope all is well with your family

He's a gorgeous looking calf. I've seen Highlands crossed with Angus and they were solid black and shaggy.
Well well, you are so right!!! His coat looks soft and plush. He sure is cute. She looks very heavy ... Fun to learn from you. All the best. I hear them. Poor baby ...

So, Rosie had herself a good time. hehehe

Good surprise!
I'd call him Pirate as his daddy pirated his momma lol
Rhett's Little Dude is a perfect name
Please keep us updated on this Highland/Hereford . Just really curious to see the change in his coat. This ought to be interesting.

That Hereford farmer better pay up
💝
I didn’t even know bull can cross breed with cows 😳lol
Naturally hornless cattle are called "polled"
I remember when that Bull was in your pasture!! 🤦♀️
Name him dinner
Redford
Oops lol. Kinda curious what he'll look like.
You should name him Spanky
❤👍👍👍
Bullseye?
Is it better cross breed salers and highland cattle ?
He looks like a Brock!
How about Slick Willie Jr. for the name
Do the neighbos get him 50% of the year 😆😅🤣😂
And pay child suport ?
How about Ribeye , sorry for the Hereford, hope that’s the only one
So if beef production isn't big in your operation what exactly do you use them for? Or did I miss a video I just found your channel last night
We still sell steers to other producers who will finish them out for beef. But most of our calves are sold at weaning age to other breeders
Ok cool. I was curious, wasn't fully sure if you was a rancher or a homesteader or a little of both.

Patch
Do not eat him
He’s pretty

I think your neighbor owes you some "sorry" money to make up for the lost profits from a pure bred
Aawww! That little guy is a happy accident, isn’t he! His white eyelashes are so pretty.
Even though the baby is a cross, it sure is a cutie.
