Repentance is not a work. God grants repentance. "He is the one whom God exalted o His right hand as a Prince and a Savior, to grant repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins." (Acts 5:31)
I have needed this for a long time. May God strengthen you as you continue with the daily readings. Only eternity will tell how God has used this to bless and encourage the Believers.

I start my day out now listening to your readings and reading my Bible. Before, when I attempted to read the Bible in a year, the time in reading seemed to drag on. I was counting how long until I was done! Now, I am two to three chapters beyond my daily reading before I realize I was still reading! God has changed me! I pray that this habit gets established deep in my soul and I can teach this well to my son who will then be well equipped to lead his household. God bless!
